I was where The Nal has pointed out last year. Arrived Tuesday just before midday. Had I arrived a few hours later I'd probably have been nearer the road in E14 or E15. If you're arriving Wednesday I wouldn't worry, you'll get put wherever they have space. 2017 we rocked up Thursday afternoon and they opened a new row of vans right by the road in E14.

Cheers... Will have to come up with a cunning plan B then...

Considering doing something very similar this year. Is it a question of bimbling around the A37 until the gate opens?

Tom Rasmussen is playing but not sure where. They were ace supporting Self Esteem recently. https://twitter.com/TomGlitter/status/1632855265694433283?t=R-MzWbUBzaWOyn2d9_6C5Q&s=19

Think Young Fathers can only play Friday can't they? They're down as confirmed here anyway so there's been some info.

Access for two hours only too. Volunteer with Oxfam/Shelter/Water Aid and get access to Maceos for the entire week for the price of 24ish hours of your time...

Was stone cold sober at The Who and halfway up the field. Had seen them in Brum the week before and they had been excellent. I'm firmly in the camp of starting well then dropping off. Can't quite put my finger on why but there seemed to be a change when Townshend had his hissy fit and was pulling at the drum screens. All seemed to get a bit muddy after that.

They had stopped taking bets, ie closed the market. Reopening means they are taking bets again

Unfortunately not. Expect a bun fight for East Quiet, normal East to got shortly after followed by Bath & West. Need to be ready to buy at 1200 in my opinion.

I did the pedestrian crossing on Cockmill Lane plus a vehicle gate in 2019 with Oxfam

Hugh Jass probably right, See seemed to have a small allocation. Birmingham Symphony Hall went live via their own site at 10 and seemed to have 90% of their capacity available. Still didn't hang around long though.

No real way of knowing, at that point the stewards will likely be filling up whatever space is left all over the site. As an example this year we rocked up at midday on Tuesday as the fields were being filled up row by row. We ended up at pretty much tbe furthest point you could be from gate C. Had we been half an hour earlier or later we'd be at the end of the same row at the closest point to gate C. 2019 we turned up around 1pm on Wednesday. Stewards directed us round the entire circumference of the fields and when none could find a space and we were back at the entrance they started another line about 50m away.

Perculiarly missing from their current setlist

Personally I wouldnt be bothered if someone wanted to be in the nud on the High Street, let alone Glastonbury.

I went through Gate C around 1300hrs this year coming from the campervan fields. There was no queue at the gate but they still insisted on us going through all the zig zags.

The campervan resale went pretty quickly this year. I had to wait until the final (small) sale after the cancellation deadline before I managed to get mine. I was however only trying for East tickets - can't recall how long Bath & West tickets hung around for.

Why do I do this???
