  1. Cheap Lager by Mash Gang is the best AF tipple I've found. Athletic IPA wasn't bad either.
  2. They need to find somewhere to house similar late night entertainment somewhere though, Willy G was always a good alternative to the dance music which is everywhere.
  3. Would be a great shout, didn't know she was active but she's doing some random set in USA in May and nothing else. Would be an ace booking.
  4. Yeah there's nothing in my craft beer place I wouldn't try, but if I want a 'normal' pale, IPA, DIPA, TIPA etc then I just ask someone to pick me one out for me. Might as well plug it, if you ever find yourself in Colchester and need a pint then head to Two Brews!
  5. Kasabian have to be in with a shout of playing this year. Could easily be the Other opener or headline JPT. Not a bad shout for a secret set either.
  6. They were phenomenal in Avalon. One of my all time favourite Glastonbury sets. The energy in the tent was incredible.
  7. It's unexciting because they played the festival in 2013 and 2017 not in the legend slot, and could easily simply play elsewhere on the line up. They've played virtually everywhere, every summer. As bookings go it would be exceptionally plain, despite the fact they bring the party. But if the festival would rather scale down the size of the act whilst keeping the same vibe as Kylie, Diana etc then they're a good fit, albeit very obvious.
  8. Genuinely can't work out if you're a troll or just thick as pigshit. I'm gonna say both.
  9. Pretty much my taste in beer is what can give me diabetes as swiftly as possible. A lot of sours just taste like fruit juice. I'm not too much of a thin stout kinda guy - prefer them nice and thick. When it comes to pale ales, IPAs etc I still have no idea what hops I like or what each one brings to the table. Just know that West Coast is much hoppier/danker than New England.
  10. In a pinch wouldn't put it past the festival to get Chic/Nile Rodgers in. Yes they're ubiquitous and are clearly a lot smaller in stature but they'd still go down like a storm. Albeit having pretty much played the same spot in 2017 following on from Bazza. In the area and with the weekend clear. Wouldn't rule out a return to West Holts headliner either. Would be an extremely unexciting booking but they've got the tunes and show for it.
  11. Honestly just get Sugababes back to sub JPT before Hot Chip
  12. Mid-Other I reckon. Headlined JPT in 2017 to a pretty tiny (albeit enthusiastic) crowd. Would take them in the sunset slot on The Park for sure.
  13. Does seem accepting Other Headline/Pyramid Sub is a bit of a death knell to an act's hopes of topping the Pyramid. 3rd down and a ginormous crowd is probably better publicity than being the footnote to a headline set.
  14. Would make sense why people heard Roxy Music, perhaps they were told they'd be in the legend slot if Spice Girls fell through, but it hasn't so they'll be playing another announced slot?
  15. Yeah had one of these at Bearded and was phenomenal. Amazing to just go and get a chilled DIPA, sour, stout etc anytime you liked. Put ice in it on the Thursday and was still some in there on Monday morning.
  16. Putty on at £11.50 a pint in my craft beer place. Not sure how much per can.
  17. Co-ordinated security dance to Use My Arsehole As A c**t. Get the man himself onstage for Michael Eavis and his Micro Penis
  18. Record number of blankets in the field and hands being sat on when Elton drops dreary numbers such as Tiny Dancer and Crocodile Rock to a glum, silent, motionless audience.
  19. H from Steps and Carol Vorderman as special guests
  20. Now here's someone who could easily fill a good 75 minutes in the sunshine on a Sunday
  21. I mean I posted it as an absolute pipedream (Stevie mainly) but theoretically it could happen - Stevie as legend would be pushing it.
  22. How do you go about keeping your stouts at a drinkable temp? I did the same for Bearded Theory but my mates had a gas powered fridge in their tent and it was only a 5 minute nip back to camp to restock. Would love to have 2 or 3 imperial dessert stouts to keep me going during the day, as well as spirits.
  23. It's been 13 years since he headlined and I weren't there, so roll out Stevie Wonder for it. Stevie Wonder -> Lizzo -> Pulp -> Elton
  24. Heineken isn't ideal but still a major step up from Carlsberg. Heineken for £6 and Neck Oil for £6.50 would realistically be great pint prices for 2023 given the current market.
