I would love to see Jungle appear at Werchter, have they ever played it before? They’re doing Beyond the Pale in June and have a gap until Manchester on the 11th July so not impossible. They have a European tour booked for this October and November but don’t have anything booked in Belgium.
What do people think the chances are?
They played before (2015 I think) and they're playing in a 5000+ capacity venue in Belgium this November so why not? Can definitely see them at KluB C \Barn, although I didn't check if they're available this summer.

Gaslight Anthem are in the UK around this time for 2000 Trees. Would fit as an undercard act with some of the rumoured headliners (Foos, Pearl Jam, etc). Not sure how big they are in Belgium though.
They played high at the old Barn last time (2013?) but the tent was far from being full

Didn't they only sub when there in 2013?
Saying that they sold out Antwerp Sports Paleis so demand is clearly there. Indeed everywhere I looked seems to have sold out.

Finding accommodation anywhere near Leuven during Rock Werchter is very difficult I find.
Best accommodation seems to be booked out a year in advance. I might be wrong or might be looking in wrong places online. Any recommendations or advice on getting good accommodation at festival time??
Most accommodation are indeed booked a year in advance but with free cancellation. Once festivals start announcing acts and people decide which festivals they want to go, they're cancelling their reservations. So my tip is to find a few places that suits you and every couple of days try them out. If months will pass without a success, keep trying daily or even twice a day and if that fail too then turn to Airbnb.

There are shuttle busses Every night to Leuven and Aarschot. But in my opinion it’s better to stay in Leuven than Aarschot. Better accommodation. Shuttlebusses keep on going until 3 o’clock.
And they're free! Aim for the closest hotel\flat to Leuven central bus\train station.
There's not much to do there for the kids, even less activities than Mad Cool.

Does anyone knows if you can pay with the phone in the bars inside?

Are all stages open-air?

Went to Cala Mijas last year, what do you want to know?
I seek Kalorama review.. Cala Mijas received better reviews last year but this years' lineup is weaker than Kalorama
-
I read both of last years' Kalorama and Cala Mijas threads to gather reviews of the festivals. There weren't many reviews here but it seems that Cala Mijas got better reviews but I like Kalorama lineup better. Any detailed review will be much appreciated, I have to decide really soon!

His first two albums are fantastic, not sure whether he plays much off those albums these days. I fear the set will be a bit dull unless he plays some of the more energetic and well known tracks off those records.
I like his third the most but he doesn't play anything from it, beside Nica Libres maybe. Black Flies, Promise, Small Things and All Is Now Harmed are back to the setlists so although they are far from energetic, they're great songs.

I much prefer seeing him in a tent like Woodsies and he does not fit the booking and the expectations of this slot in recent years, but I'll take what I can. He's tremendous live but he needs the right setting, hopefully he will win some of you over🙂

So, reactions here were pretty mute, Is It? Am I gonna be alone in the field or people will come regardless?

Nope, only the Barn and KlubC sets.
Of course, That's what Ohad asked about. I remember that some years ago the screen operated only when a tent was full but in recent years it was operated regardless.

I decided not to go this year so Im cancelling my Ibis Budget hotel reservation I have (Twin Room, Wed-Mon) right now. So if anyone want to improve their hotel location - its right above the Leuven Central Station where the shuttles drop you - enter their website quickly.

A funny question: the screen between Klub C and the Barn broadcasts all the sets from these 2 stages?
Im pretty much sure that all the sets are broadcasting outside, not just the full-tent-sets.

Will that work from Airport to leuven train ?
From the airport there's a fee you need to pay called Diabolo Fee, it's about 6 Euros per journey

It's a really oddly specific mistake to make though, isn't it? And Mikey Shoes turned up in the Rabbit Hole last year...
Yeah.. "and will play a - sure to be massively oversubscribed - set in the 2000-capacity Cabaret tent on Saturday afternoon".

-
I'm surprised they haven't updated their area page yet - Stonebridge, Rabbit Hole and other venues still have last year's performers listed. I want to know if there's anything new and if the Humblewell is still a thing.

Surprised Dope Lemon hasn’t been announced, his tour dates coincide perfectly
Though he's available on Sunday, it would mean that he will play 7 shows in a row. He's also available on Thursday but what stage can he play then?

It's not just a great Slope lineup, the tents are strong too, as usual. But the top-8 (main stage headliners and subheadliners) are shocking by Rock Werchter standards.
