Honestly, I have no idea who could be headlining. I feel like Avril has to be there, seems like a perfect fit. Wild guess - Macklemore. And I'm gonna go with Against The Current/Babymetal/coldrain/Dropkick Murphys/Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes/Ice Nine Kills/Missio/nothing,nowhere./Static Dress for the undercard.

Yes but the reason they're announcing on that day and hour are Green Day. RfP could easily share the other headliners and announce them a day earlier.

The other festivals are waiting for Green Day which were already unlikely.

QOTSA also struggled to sell 3000 tickets last time they played in Prague. I guess it all depends on how much they ask for a show.

He did 2 nights there. But you also have to consider that his entire tour sold out incredibly fast and his other dates were in much bigger arenas like Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam or Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin (both have capacity around 17k). With his next album on the way, he could be even bigger next summer.

He's absolutely huge in the UK/Benelux/France/Germany... and he's still on the rise. Sold out big arenas on his recent tour. His popularity in Eastern Europe is a big question though cause he's never played there.

The festival is now 21-25 August? Have they ever included Wednesday and Thursday in the official dates?

No, doesn't fit the festival. Played last year, it's way too soon for them to return.

Must be someone pretty big if it's the only name they're announcing tomorrow. Most likely Blink-182, I can't think of any other possible name. Maybe Rammstein if the Download rumour is true? Hopefully, it won't be someone like BMTH or Avril as that would be quite underwhelming as a first announcement.

It would be a complete nonsense to book someone like Taylor if they want to sell more 6-day tickets than daily tickets.

If they announced it earlier without managements consent, they would have to pay the whole fee. It would be considered as a cancellation from the festival. It’s f*cked up but it is what it is. Just a lesson to not book acts like him next time.

They didn’t wait with the announcement, it’s Yung Lean (and his management) who cancelled last minute.

Yung Lean cancelled his performance at Grape festival so I guess he won’t show up at Sziget either. That would be one main stage slot to fill.
