  1. Well in that case someone from the Lost Village team had been at Worthy Farm taking research polaroids because I was 100% sure it had to be the same stage!
  2. I'm sure I'm just setting myself up for disappointment, but it feels like this is the year Silver Hayes finally becomes the daytime dance party space it was always promised as, and never quite was.
  3. The Glade is just such a good structure for a festival stage. I went to Lost Village the second year it was running back in 2016, when the stages were completely different to the ones they have now, and they were using The Glade as one of the main stages*, worked perfectly. *Either that or they'd built an identical stage there...
  4. A real 'this is my church' moment, that was. Hyped that there are already multiple contenders for this year's equivalent.
  5. Book Sherelle for every stage imo
  6. Between that absolutely stonking lineup and the news re. stage changes, I've got a good feeling about the direction Silver Hayes is heading in.
  7. That was the exact night I was there and just couldn't get into it! Turns out these things are completely subjective, who knew...?
  8. Maybe I'm just getting old and there's dozens of places I don't know about, but between this and The Cause closing down things are looking pretty bleak in Old London Town right now.
  9. I love the main floor at Printworks, massively prefer it to WHP at Mayfield Depot. Mayfield felt too big and sprawled out and too rammed at the same time, spent all night trying and failing to find a good spot for anything. WHP at Store Street, on the other hand, was a #vibe.
  10. And to bring things full circle back to @Freddyflintstonree's original request, I think you can hear a lot of this album in Bicep's sound. That track Rain in particular feels like a direct nod to Last Train to Lhasa.
  11. Freak Like Me really is one of the all time great pop singles, if they're not clashing with anyone important I'll be there
  12. Still just in awe of this. Remember the first time I heard it, at one of his Brixton all-nighters*, and it felt like it went on for half an hour. *Pretty sure I got my ticket off of someone on here? @Tuna, perhaps?
  13. I also had a soft spot for The Blues but it was gone in 2019. A new team has surely got to mean a revamp of some sorts? If they can actually draw a crowd there post-headliners it'll take some of the pressure off the SE corner.
  14. The Spoons in Central and at the major rail terminals have always been closer to Central prices though.
  15. I blame Job Jobse for making me think the Blessed Madonna is a much better DJ than she actually is. First time I saw her was a b2b with Jobse and every time since has confirmed he was doing a lot of heavy lifting that night.
  16. Came here to post this exact link, love Paul Duane! Great filmmaker and seems like a genuinely sound fella
  17. It was, yeah! Moderat were great, I saw them do identical sets at Glastonbury and Field Day that year but their Lost Village set was completely different, real one for the heads.
  18. 2021 will always be my 'For Those I Love Year', saw Overmono end on that remix twice then capped the year off by actually seeing For Those I Love.
  19. Tell a lie, it was Max Cooper > Fatima Yamaha > Moderat, Bicep were the night before. My addled brain has failed me again.
  20. Best overall is obviously a possibility, but one year I saw a straight run of Fatima Yamaha > Bicep > Moderat on a single stage there.
  21. This thread is united on many things, but I don't think we're as united on anything as our love for HAAi. Get her to the farm! Sherelle too while we're at it.
