I think you'll find a lot of us will be at the Fjaak set unless something unmissable pulls us elsewhere.

Dare I even suggest it...thread set meet up potential?

    Ben

Do we know when they're on?

Where eFests is concerned PSB usually means those guys dressed as Biggles with their archive footage-based gentle head-nodders.

    Fisher Price Hauntology, you mean?

The poster mentions The Woods.  Assuming that's not the trees up by the JPT?

I'm assuming that's the actual glade where the Glade stage used to be, whereas now the Glade stage isn't quite in the glade, but parts of The Glade, including the Glade Dome and Glade Cafe, may well be in the glade.

    Got that?

On a separate topic, was anyone else a bit disappointed to see so many great DJs listed for Silver Hayes rather than elsewhere on site? Appreciate we haven't seen Lonely Hearts Club at Glasto before which might be great but I've always thought Wow Stage is quite a generic "big room" tent that you see at every festival going, compared with all the weird and wonderful alternatives in SE corner. Also recall struggling to get into Wow for Four Tet and other big names back in 2019(?). I'm nitpicking and hopefully a lot of those artists will end up playing more than once haha

But isn't that supposed to be the drawer of the south east corner, or at least part of it? At the end of the day it's not the festival's dedicated dance area, Silver Hayes is.

The south east corner just isn't big enough to pick up all the slack that Arcadia doesn't have covered, and it's made it absurdly busy in recent years. I actually think it's a good thing if they try to spread the crowds around more, and I've got high hopes for the new Silver Hayes team based on what I've seen of Love Saves the Day.

Plus, we haven't even got Block 9 yet, which is always the best south east corner lineup anyway...

Could this be the return of London Underground? It seems to be on the map.

(Block 9 I know but that whole area is often colloquially referred to as Shangri-La)

This was my first thought too.

Looks like I'll be flying solo for Kenny. My lot are talking PSB as, in their eyes, that's where the party vibe will be over Kendrick.

    My friends are idiots.

To be fair I was on the fence until the new album announcement snapped me out of it. Any other year I'd be up for PSB, Bicep or Charli but I feel this is it as far as the likelihood of me seeing Kendrick live goes, so count me in for Kung Fu Kenny

Can’t imagine it’s Will Smith or Nipsey’s family who have kicked up a fuss, I’ll put it that way

Why? Could totally imagine that kind of move from someone with such a ruthlessly curated media presence, especially as that presence spins wildly out of control...

Macca's recently(-ish) started to claim to have had a hand in writing Mr Kite, which explains why it's in the set and something like Tomorrow Never Knows isn't.

Imagine picking Mr Kite as your hill to die on when you could make a claim on literally any song and John wouldn't be able to contradict you

When I heard the album I got a bit scared with the perspective of having a bad one and a setlist full of meh songs. But let's be honest, this dude can't release a bad album, even more difficult after 5 years.

I can't imagine a better way to close Glastonbury.

His album of offcuts and demos is one of my favourite albums, the man is incapable of missing...

  10. Kendrick sampling I Want You on a Monday morning?

Can't deal with this, the man is a once-in-a-generation level talent

  11. You know, the way some people have been talking about Macca's recent setlists I'd assumed Junior's Farm was some inaccessible 12 minute folk jazz odyssey, but I've just heard it for the first time and it slaps...

There's a few tracks that are staples in his set and have been for a long time now but I'm really not bothered about some that have been added this set. Take out 2-3 of his lesser knwon tracks and She Came in Through the Bathroom Window, add in Elinor Rigby and Hard Days Night and you've got a great set.

Either way, as most have said, Get Back onwards is going to be an amazing 30-40 minutes of music. I just think the the begining needs to be a bit better.

How dare you, Bathroom Window stays or we riot

  13. Hoping that Avalon Emerson isn't one of those situations where Wow is too rammed to get anywhere near, I was supposed to see her at a festival that got cancelled right back at the start of the pandemic.

To be honest, no. There's 10 pictures and I've not heard if ant of them.

Hold the line while I find the names.

Somebody mentioned them further up this page...

It was there in 2019. It’s being replaced by the new Totem stage. I hope they keep the water theme though that seems unlikely.

I can't remember what was there in 2019, but I'm sure someone here said the water wasn't here and it was replaced with a screen or something

Yeah there was a projected waterfall inside but I'm pretty sure the actual thing had been ditched, unfortunately. Having to pass under the waterfall to get into The Cave was such a great idea, shame they got rid of it.

The VIP front row hang around in some VIP lounge tickets can go up to 7k. Dont even get to meet him.

He has about 15 levels of VIP apparently. People like his wife and Ringo are level 1. Very famous people sometimes cant even get to see him. And if they do they get a quick pic with a thumbs up.

Loving the idea of Ringo whistling past Macca's security goons as they bundle Beyonce or Obama or someone out the door.
