So... actually QOTSA GAVE RW the time since they didn't cancel themselves. If RW didn't tell they ain't playing we wouldn't be having this conversation. Hell, other festivalgoers wouldn't have 2nd doubts (since Pinkpop, Mad Cool still didn't cancel them) Then again - since RW HAD the time to work behind the scenes (they knew QOTSA won't play and QOTSA went silent) and managed to do shit (AKA upgrading Greta)

If they do we have another year off. Let's hope not 🙂

Aerosmith are indeed cancelling EU 2022 tour, I-days Milan posted this on FB. Rival Sons weren't announced for Graspop so I wonder - were they one of those 9 bands yet to be added later or can we have a shot with them now they're available ? 🙂

Done that in 2016, only because mud and rain made me REALLY SICK. I escaped camping grounds adter 2 days and stayed in Brussels. Haven't seen Sat & Su headliners as I had to travel to Leuven to catch last train to the capital. So unless you have a car it's pointless.

Once an artist ends Main Stage, another one starts on The Slope. Same goes with Klub C - The Barn.

Actually this proves my point even further. If a festival has TWO options on the table at the very last minute I'd expect more options and tryouts to deliver a stellar line-up when one has 6 months to go. Friday is still good for me, not perfect since QOTSA are out (hoping they're out of entire EU June-July circuit, that will ease the pain a bit). Saturday is abysmal and - as @Ken19stated - beyond saving. That's the worst part. Especially when there will be clashes on other days and Saturday is a no-clash day. Still - they'd headline Thu or Fri. They'd be PERFECT alternative for Imagine Dragons.

So Saturday remains shit as hell 😞

True but then again let's get back to 2015 when Dave broke his leg/ankle (can't remember) and Thursday was sold out months in advance. They've managed to get a proper replacement at the very last minute (FnM). None other festival who had Foo Fighters on the bill couldn't deliver such a quality band back then. Therefore I'm obliged to expect more from RW management. Especially when there's shitload of time.

They could always give us Florence or The Strokes. Those second ones especially would be fitting. Friday is sold out so we wouldn't have the problem they don't sell tickets. And the contract would be a done deal. Florence on the other hand played 2nd last time as well so it could be doable. Hell, Franz Ferdinand came back on stage, they have enough hits to give us 1 hour of fun. And they didn't even try to calm us with Editors ;/

But still.... 2015 - in three WEEKS before the festival they're able to get Faith No More 2022 - in five MONTHS before the festival they're able to get Anne Marie That's the real problem

The most irritating thing is that we've lost 3 sub-headliners 6 and 5 months before the festival begins and they've added ZERO suitable replacements. Like there was no try. More like "fuck it, we're close to being sold out so who cares"... Remember the good old days back in 2015 when they were able to call in Faith no More at the very last moment ? And that was a critical situation with Grohl breaking his leg. THAT WAS caring for the audience. I'd wish to see such determination to provide great rock subs for this edition as well

Losing Faith No More was a blow. Losing QOTSA is devastating for me. And they didn't give us ANY suitable replacement. That is NOT OK. I'm happy with the idea that the festival might happen, happy with a lot of medium-sized bands but then again...I have 3 good days and one shitty beyond all the days I've spent at this festival. Really, Saturday is abysmal. Last but no least...where's Liam Gallagher? And can we hope The Smile will be added once they decide to announce live dates ?

Is this for real? Artists already pulling out of summer 2022 ? That would be a devastating blow. I can't let myself even think about that shit over and over again

And we're back !! Losing two bands - The Streets AND Faith No More - is a blow, especially when it comes to Patton & Co. Hoping for decent replacements

I truly and utterly don't care where Boss plays in Italy. He's not gonna play Rock Werchter, same goes with my country (unfortunately). Is it just me dreaming we'll miss Imagine Dragons bullet this time ?

Sum 41 and Jimmy Eat World are almost dead certain - they were to play in 2020, both have dates during RW

I just added 4 The Hive tickets to my order and it's still available EDIT: You must've thought about The Hive RESORT. That appareantly is indeed sold out.

What do You think about Puscifer possibility ? They were on 2021 Mad Cool line-up, now they're not + Maynard is touring with Tool 4 months straight until late May I also rediscovered Angels & Airvawes. Dates throughout UK, DE and FR in March, would fit RW pretty well in my opinion.

Thought about the same structure since Mad Cool announced them. QOTSA + Metallica would be mind-blowing. Florence for Saturday and The Strokes for Sunday and we're good to go. In other news - Rise Against announced solo Belgium show one week before RW so they're obviously out of the picture.

Hoping Oscar & the Wolf will join Stromae during Boutique. Unrealistic as hell as he NEVER played Belgium...but any chances John Mayer showing up ?

My biggest questions right now are: 1. Are NIN still Hellfest exclusive or Trent can top The Barn on Saturday? 2. Will The Strokes support/sub RHCP on Sunday? (hopefully) 3. Who's subbing Pearl Jam? The War on Drugs or Pixies ?

Until this moment I was still hoping it'd be Coldplay who'll blow us away on Sunday night. I like RHCP but (IMO) they lack their album dynamics while playing live. Anyway, the festival itself is all I need so I'll take the Peppers in a heartbeat supported by some good big name. Still - don't believe Peppers can sell out a day by themselves. Geeez, 8 PM and still not a word ;/
