  1. Is Taylor scheduled anywhere else before next June?
  2. I’m hopeful for Relton and Swifty but her star has somewhat faded if Billie is headlining, don’t you think? Especially if Relton’s in the mix as well. Would be very poppy.
  3. West Holts for me on Friday night, then. But Relton Ron is an absolute MUST 😍

Wow, even though Billie isn’t my ideal headliner, I’m so happy you’re getting news! Actual news!! Wow!!

Only way she’d be in headliner position is if she passes on 2022 and lets the hype build for 2023, imo. She doesn’t have enough right now.

Probably a bit of a reach but we can but hope.
  10. China dominating the men’s final diving. In years gone by Daley’s score would have bagged him gold.
  11. I reckon it’s to be expected. We’ll be in and out of lockdowns like this for the next few months until vaccination levels increase. Technically they could get to 100% by the end of the year at the current rate of one million Pfizer’s being delivered per week, but there’s a ceiling at which things will tail off, as we’re seeing in the US. Some people just won’t take the vaccine. I think that’s why they’re already talking about incentivising vaccination, and affording vaccinated people more freedom to travel will surely be included. I’m with you 100%. I’m fixing a lot of hope on next June, and it’s what’ll get me through a second missed Christmas this year. At this point, Australia will hit its vaccination ceiling in about five months, and travel to Glasto is ten months away. Vaccination is the game changer and I cannot conceive that international travel will be this fucked by next June. I’m pretty confident we’ll be OK by then 🤞

Have we all decided to forget / ignore all the homophobic content that went on in Tyler’s back catalogue? Do we pretend like that didn't happen?

I accept that's popular opinion. I just never really got into 808s and enjoyed Jesus is King more than most, it seems.

For me, Kendrick’s verse on NMPILA is more about the feel and the rhythm. A lot of rap is about the lyrics but (and not sure if I’m alone on this) sometimes it’s nice just to tune out and enjoy the sound of somebody’s voice dancing with the beat rather than dissecting every word of it. Ye samples heavily on top of Kenny so it’s hard to decipher everything anyway. I just stop concentrating and bliss out to the sound.

And yet he’s not a very good rapper. I mean he can do it, sure, and he has his moments but it’s the beats and production that make Kanye the man. His rap skills just aren’t bad enough to spoil it. Not sure what the popular consensus is on that here.
