For anyone (anyone?) planning to go Tom from Keane said they play July 27, on Virgin Radio earlier. The Saturday.

I've always thought that there's a case to be made that the England V Somebody (possibly Lithuania?) game in a big competition kicking off late afternoon on the Wednesday one year was the start of the majority of people turning up on the day the gates open. First time we'd turned up on a Wednesday and struggled to get a camping spot.
2010. Roasting. Was shown on the Pyramid mid Wednesday afternoon. Win v Slovenia to set up the Germany shambles on the Sunday.
Be interesting to see if they do plan to show games. Demand is always there for a big group watch. Imagine they will somewhere

When was the R.E.M. set from? They headlined in 2003, too - which had the Pyramid set up.

In. With a nice group of us.

£6.75 for a 330ml can of Asahi lager at Junction 2 in London at the weekend 😑

Just seen Rozi Plain, was grabbing some food in the T&C fields before heading over to Manics.

Did anyone see Kenny Beats? That was my big regret.
Yes, caught him, was v impressive - cut and mixed countless dance and hip hop tracks, many being familiar Glastonbury favourites. Chems. Basement Jaxx, Fred Again, Kelis. He was well up for it, just arrived off a long haul flight. Enjoyable hour between Slowdive and The War on Drugs.

Towards the back at Elton, group of around 12 comes in around halfway through the set. Mix of ages. Youngish girl, probably around 14 or 15, sat on shoulders of a guy. Turns around and shouts to them all.
'Did you know something? You know Elton is gay, right? Yeah, he's got a husband and everything!'
Naively funny and sweet.

Was a really depressing choice!
Recall Tame Impala's Let It Happen was used in 2016. Much better.

Thought Leftfield would be on there, too.
Saw Ben Bohmer recently. Very good.
-
Kelis bumped up to Friday headliner when Fred Again.. took off and had to move to a bigger stage?
Emily would want a female headliner here though, i imagine.
-
Confidence Man will be there, i'm sure. Imagine they've built their whole Euro summer around it. Pyramid (not El Pointo ffs) would be a right touch, but can see 5th down Other.
-
Just a hunch on Phoenix as Woodsies' headliner. Their stage set-up didn't fully work last time they headlined on the Saturday. Works best in the dark, so may want to make amends.
-
Can't see Pulp doing it. Why would they do the same thing again.
Thing they'll avoid big name secret sets this year, it'll only lead to crowd congestion chat and debate, and hoping they've learned from last year.
