  2. Yep. It's luxurious. And well worth it for the 5 year warranty, as I've had others (Kampa) that have failed within 2 years.
  3. Pick up is opposite Travelodge BS1 5TT Nearest reasonable is britannia-parking.co.uk/where-to-park/Bristol-Harbourside at £20 a day. Most of central Bristol has residents parking schemes, so if you wanted to park roadside, you'd have to go a few miles out. Or try Park on my Drive. There's also a congestion zone around central Bristol, so check that online too.

    Beer Prices

Was holding out that I may have misheard him, alas not. San Miguel it is then.

    Beer Prices

You may very well be right. I was half cut when he mentioned it, but was surprised none the less.
  6. Afraid not. I was half cut when he rattled it out, but did mention bar by Leftfield, also SE Corner.
  7. Not sure if previously mentioned, but Bristol Beer Factory will be heavily represented on site.

    Beer Prices

Met the manager of several of the bars down there last night; £6.50 standard, £6.80 premium (told to "aim for London prices") Also the Brooklyn Pilsner is being offered at 4%, as opposed to 4.6%
  9. I'm perversely enjoying this thread. Some wonderfully erudite exchanges without reverting to mud-slinging, and all very valid points. William's Green Stage was by far my favourite place to be (even named my son after it, as he was conceived a stone's throw away (too much info)) In fairness, we probably spent too much time over the last decade milling about there. So we've decided to try out alternative venues to meet up and/or to retire to. And that's a good thing, even if not the intention.

    The churnups

Agreed! Did think twice before posting it, but it is on topic. And no different from what Somerset Live do every year.
  11. Yep, was looking at the wrong month. As you were!
  12. Yep, completely my bad! Had wrong month. As you were, see you Sunday night at Other Stage
  13. QOTSA are in Roskilde, Denmark on Sunday 28th. So that kills the Sunday night TBA Other Stage rumour.
  14. Such a great band live, everyone leaves with a smile! Spitfire/War Room EP tour was the first time I caught them at The Fleece, Bristol. Then their first Glastonbury at William's Green (RIP) Also lucky enough to meet them at Fopp Records for a tiny gig to promote Race for Space. They told me how emotional the William's Green gig was for them, the crowd spilled out of the tent. Colston Hall, West Holts & O2 Academy too. Apologies for the self indulgence! I did however miss the The Glade gig, odd as Glade & William's Green have always been my fav stages.

    Resale Club 2023

Simply demand mate. And fairer than being booted several times while trying to process your payment.
  16. Cloudflare, Google & OpenDNS were (during the sale) and still are, returning both 167.98.14.xxx & 31.221.2.xxx addresses. (DNS flushed too)
  17. So, around 15+ of us trying from the West Country. Our mate in South Island New Zealand is the only one to get in and get our tickets. Outstanding.
  18. "Over-refreshing" will return the error 429 (Too Many Requests) This is viewable within the browsers Developers Tools > Console (Chrome)
  19. The quiet field is reasonably flat, with only an incline if you arrive well late, such as Thursday. Tuesday midday is a lush time to arrive and not hectic. There are several food traders dotted about the CV fields, generally by junctions. No live music as such, but plenty of "sounds" knocking about. Just plant yourselves at the top of the hill by gate C, and take in the sunset & view over the site. Has a great vibe!
  20. 2nd this. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Elete-ELE-001-25ml-Pocket-Bottle/dp/B003VJTMI8 Stop any cramps and dehydration effectively, and I suffer bad. So much so I now bring the larger refill bottle too.
  21. Unclaimed tickets are handed over by the coach driver, and held by the See Tickets rep at Gate A. Plenty of coaches going from Bristol throughout the day, so quite possible that you can squeeze onto one of those, as there's usually a space from a no-show.
  22. So long as they're "qualified" Don't want shades of this...
