  1. We used the metro and managed to snake our way across the city to La Latina. Really well laid out festival and plenty of beer stalls, food vendors and toilets. Saw quite a few bands and thought Metallica were fantastic. Enjoyed Wolf Alice, Creeper, Daytime TV, Frank Carter and Fever 333. The security at the entrance were utter dicks. Searched bags and telling everyone to bin sun cream. In that heat that was criminal. Judging by other’s comments on Social Media, the transport hub after the festival was a clusterfuck. You really can’t have a festival on the edge of a city and not provide transport links is amateur. Still looking forward to it today. Hope everyone has a good time and the transport has been sorted.
  2. We leave tomorrow as well. Fingers crossed flights are on time or thereabouts. Hope everyone has a brilliant time.
  3. Their communications are abysmal. It seems to be a festival that’s run by people who’ve never actually been at a festival
  4. See NoS Alive have announced Stormzy won’t be appearing. You’d think that would be the same for MC
  5. Set times posted on Twitter. I’d struggle to watch a lot this year. Line up doesn’t do it for me. Loved the location and the festival in general but far prefer the Mad Cool line up
  6. City centre ones. Shuttle bus goes from outside the main rail station so anything in the main centre or near the rail station works.
  7. I agree with that but on the flip side, I saw them a couple of weeks later at Rock Werchter and they were excellent.
  8. That last few lines are why I’m nowhere near a mosh. Too bloody old and unfit to be running around with the young uns 😎. I was knackered despite staying in Prem Inn, Derby for 4 nights
  9. Understand that point of view. I had a few things I was definitely going to and just went to see bits and pieces of a lot of bands. I’ve seen Biffy so often now that it didn’t excite me and only watched one song afrer Myles K in the Dogtooth. That stage os seriously shit and needs moved.
  10. Great weekend. Didn’t really see anything I didn’t like. Loved Maiden as always but Korn last night were truly outstanding.
  11. Nothing of any note this year
  12. Bleed From Within at the Dogtooth was fabulous this afternoon. Probably the best newish band I’ve seen in years
  13. Hopefully see you folks over the weekend again
  14. Bleed from Within were excellent at DL Pilot and certainly deserve better . The gap between Deftones and Maiden is mind boggling. Other than failing to replace bands who dropped out, there's no need for that length of time between acts.
  15. My tickets arrived via email tonight.
  16. Off topic from new releases, but anyone going to see Tool in next few days are in for an absolute belter of a gig. Saw them in Manchester on Monday and it's one of the best gigs I've ever attended.
  17. I noticed that a lot didn’t seem to appreciate QOTSA have zero chance of being there.
  18. See they’re starting to tweet again tonight.
  19. Didn’t NIN say the uk dates announced a couple of weeks ago conclude their summer 22 shows ?
  20. The Darkness replacing Bowie at TITP was possibly the worst thing I’ve ever experienced at a festival
  21. Anyone going to be paying £450 for 3 days on the viewing platform ? They really are taking the piss with that one
  22. Can’t be a huge amout left to complete the line up. With a few American bands pulling European tours, I do wonder if Kiss will be replaced before June
  23. Totally get that but I’d have Metallica and Pearl Jam every day for sheer enjoyment. What I meant about the main stage was the sound quality as opposed to atmosphere. Sad geek kinda thing
  24. Werchter is shaping up nicely and if I hadn't already rolled over Mad Cool tickets from 2020 I'd have definitely gone back to RW. Enjoyed the few times I went to RW. Well organised and the sound quality on the main stage was fabulous.
