  1. I had pencilled in a return to NOS in 24 but the line up so far is doing nothing for me
  2. Looks like they're playing Margate on the Saturday
  3. Been a really enjoyable weekend so far. One thing about the food I suppose is that overheads have gone up and vendors selling the same poor quality stuff but for a higher price. The paella place to the right of the second stage was decent quality. One bonus is you can take in your own food if you want
  4. The location on your link is identical to the one posted on that FB page.
  5. Below is a cut and paste from Mad Cool english speaking fans FB page. Seems to confirm new location but not sure if last sentence is from the reply from Mad Cool or the authors take. After my mail regarding New Location and Hotels nearby I got this answer: The location of the venue is in the Villaverde area, in Laguna Dalga street. As for the displacements/transportation, there are train and subway stops nearby, as well as several buses. And as always we will have shuttles to the center of Madrid. More detailed information will be published later. I needed to add, that public transport doesn´t drive after the concerts and the organisations with the Taxis/ubers didn´t work either... I think, we´ll skip this year...
  6. Christ I’m getting really old. I haven’t heard of almost everything on that poster.
  7. I finally managed to see them for the first time at Mad Cool in July. They were Magnificent and would be a great addition to RW
  8. Thanks. House music isn’t my thing so it’s fairly unlikely I’ll have come across her stuff
  9. A DJ would explain my lack of knowledge 😛
  10. Blessed Madonna added. I’m unfamiliar
  11. That’s a no from me. Bit dull
  12. I was pretty excited about seeing them at Glastonbury few years back and they were a bit dull. Very strange first act to announce as others have said
  13. Didn’t get much of a buzz from the announcement and to be honest, I haven’t heard of a lot of what’s been announced, particularly the smaller font bands. As an older attendee, it’s good to see younger folks on here buzzing for it. You people are the future of the festival, not the likes of me.
  14. Are we confident the poster is accurate. Some things don’t add up ?
  15. Generally it’s a bit later. In fact it was 29 March this year before they went on sale
  16. I'm going to see them tomorrow (MH) at the Lemon Tree in Aberdeen. Still can't quite believe they're playing there.
  17. I saw them at NoS a few weeks later and they were dire. My son saw them at Leeds Festival last weekend and also thought they were pretty boring. More suited to indoor venues these days.
  18. Not a new release but Tool’s Fear Inoculum released on vinyl today at affordable price. Sounds magnificent on vinyl
  19. Great post. We had a brilliant time and it was fantastic being back watching loads of tremendous bands. Music really does help you get through the more difficult times of life
  20. That Haim phone chat was a real cringe moment. I have no idea what the purpose was but it failed miserably
  21. War on Drugs tonight was one of my favourite festival hours ever. Sun going down and the most amazing musicianship. This auld bugger could cry
  22. Log onto your account on the app and if it’s working correctly (it was earlier but not about 30mins ago) it shows individual transactions and balance. Any of top up points inside can give you balance
