The Ghost Inside played Slam Dunk in 2014 and could easily headline the metalcore stage there. They're popular with the Slam Dunk crowd. Even Dillinger wouldn't seem out of place as they've booked Glassjaw, Code Orange and Refused in the past. It's not really a huge secret that The Avalanche stage was created as a way to try an entice Slam Dunk goers to Download. So unless Gizz whip out a Pop Punk or Metalcore album out this year I don't see it happening. Would be good booking on main or 2nd stage though.

Avalanche is typically for more "punky" based acts (i.e. wouldn't look out of place at Slam Dunk) so I don't think they'd ever headline that.

I'd put Knocked Loose/Code Orange against Metallica and Sleep against BMTH but other than that looks reasonable.

Used to be massive BMTH fan when I was 16 but slowly grew off them to the point where I sort of written them off. Thought TTS was just ok and really didn't like Amo but Post Human Survival honestly brought me back. Such a killer EP and easily the best thing they've ever done. Would love to see them headline Download.

I don't think Bloodmoon will continue after the Summer. Their Damnation Festival isn't advertised as one. It's a thing they do like once every 5 years and Turnstile would be a great booking but I reckon they've already been booked for Slam Dunk next year in a high slot.

Converge haven't played since 2013 despite often being in Europe around Download so I can't see them ever returning and I just have the feeling that Turnstile will just alternate between Outbreak and Slam Dunk every other year from now on (and 2000trees every year as well it seems).

I won't deny that they're ready for it but if FFDP before BMTH it just doesn't feel right to me Looks like a pretty standard download line up to me though Denzel Curry is a nice little curveball. I know people on here talk about getting hip hop acts at Download but apart from Die Antwoord it hasn't happened. I think Run the Jewels, Denzel, Death Grips, clipping. and maybe Danny Brown and Injury Reserve could go down well at Download.

I wouldn't be surprised if Thursday was the weakest to offset costs. Doesn't necessarily mean a weaker headliner but I can see them doing something like only having one or two stages on that day. But BMTH are a bigger band in this country than either of those?

Interesting to see what the fourth day will be like though I don't know why some people are assuming that because there is a forth day that they'll smash it out of the park with the headliners. If anything I feel like the line up will just be more diluted. Anyway here's my wish for the headliners NIN / BMTH / MCR / Rage

2019 was the first time they did early entry on the Wednesday and I don't remember hearing that they were letting people in earlier. That year I got there at like 5:30 and there was still tons of space to set up camp. I even arrived on the Friday one year and got set up easily. Just arrive whenever is convenient for you. Also the site is really small, it takes like 5 mins to walk from one end to the other, so it doesn't matter where you camp at all. Just pick a spot that seems good to you.

Dice have just got some tickets for 2000trees now which does include Wednesday entry for anyone looking as they did say they those were sold out earlier this week.

Set times out and clashes seem to be quite minimal and short with artists clashing for only 10 minutes. Only clashes I've got are Militarie Gun with Injury Reserve and One Step Closer and Vein and probably going to see Militarie Gun and One Step Closer on their tours so that's perfect for me.

Outbreak released their set times and Turnstile are still there so pretty safe to assume that they're not going to be cancelling anymore dates for anyone worried.

Yes but I need that at Outbreak instead It'll happen but I still think we're quite a bit off from it happening anytime soon. Jake and Ian seem to be pretty content with Slaughter Beach, Dog at the moment and Brenden has seemed to disappeared off the face of the earth. EDIT: Thought I was replying to the Modern Baseball post not the dual site post somehow. Oops

Hellfest is over 2 weeks this year with one of those weekends being the same as Outbreak which Turnstile was meant to be playing the Thursday of. But like you said, the rest of the dates are still on their site so unless anymore dates get cancelled I feel pretty confident in them being there.

Turnstile did cancel some European dates earlier but they were basically just for the next week so it seemed more of a practicality thing more than anything then. Hellfest did cause me to be a little more alarmed but Outbreak announced a bunch of cancellations last week and Turnstile wasnt one of them. They also have a bunch of headline shows across mainland Europe that were rescheduled from their Feb tour that haven't been cancelled or rescheduled as of yet and that starts this month. If Turnstile were cancelling their entire European tour I feel like we would have known by now.

What's the likelihood of me getting a weekend or saturday ticket cheap on resale? Was thinking of maybe doing this as I can't go Slam Dunk but there is hardly anything I want to see. Only got one act on Fri and Sun (Electric Wizard and Descendents) so don't wanna pay much.
