Just seen on Facebook that the Dammed have pulled out because of covid and will be replaced by Reef (sorry, I kid you not....)

Thank you @deebeedoobeeand @pilton digger and of course honarary mention for our budding artist Arlo! Plus Diver, sticky stick, Duck, Ram jam Jar and the various supporting cast! Have a brilliant festival!

You're not tipping the staff, you're giving a donation to the charity that they are volunteering for.
-
Does the webcam get turned off during the festival or can I do a "Hi mum!" wave at it?
-
Oh no! If you join Glasto Gals Facebook group there's masses of info there for solo female travellers

Pennards is on a hill, Oxylers isn't but gets wet. You takes ya chances... I know which I'd go for this weekend given the weather forecast!

We camped close to some wrong'uns in 2019 in a normally quiet, outlying field. Security made a number of visits to their camp over the course of the festival but eventually caught them on Sunday morning when one of the lads started robbing from people around him. As people were flaked out infront of their tent, sleeping off the night before he was literally picking up phones from next to them. Eventually there was a chase across the campsite and the scumbag was caught and security kicked out the whole group. This is the 1st time I have seen theft in action in 20 years at Glastonbury. Message from me, keep your valuables safe, keep your wits about you, but don't be paranoid about it otherwise you'll have a shit festival.

That's almost better than actually going to the festival!! What a man!

Also need to factor in accidents and breakdowns which hold traffic up, especially on country roads when they are busier than usual. I'm not sure what you're planning around journey time, but just make sure you have enough food/drink to cover you for a long journey - just in case.

Crack a beer, wander... Thats it

The uniqueness of Worthy Farm mud is not to be underestimated. I live in a clay area too but never ever have I experienced the Worthy Mud phenomena of crusty on top/soft underneath which creates that gentle bounce. The mud here, you stand on it and your foot disappears, when it comes out your boot is 3 times bigger.

Getting emosh thinking we'll be back there in less than a week and watching Macca soon!
-
Literally just anywhere, apart from Pennards or Park Home. Don't overthink it, just enjoy!

And still the lonely unloved icecream van....
-
Hi, if you park in the East car Parks then you can meet your friends. If you park in West then you can't.
-
I saw Black Midi there last time, that was pretty amazing. Have also spent time chiling outside it, they always have some pretty good music playing
-
Meanwhile over in Sticklinch, we're playing how many boxes can you get in a field....
-
Picking up my friend nr East Midlands Airport!
-
From the west carparks, its gate A or D. Most people camping over Pennards/Park side use gate D unless they come by public transport
-
Steve Davis and Kavus Torabi The Utopia Strong Jane Weaver - more psych-pop than psych rock Cate le Bon - again not really rock but quite psychy

Don't drop it.......

They used to have those in the Kings Meadow. Can't remember if they're still there or not!

I reckon someone's nipped off to B&Q over lunchtime to get a tin of yellow and blue paint - they seen us chatting about it!
