Liam Gallagher would be a tremendously pleasant surprise. Would make up for fucking Blossoms' name turning up on the other one outside of Kendal that I was interested in.

Think I might make this my mid to late summer choice. Interested to see who that final headliner is, but I'd say it doesn't really matter at this point.

I was thinking of The Wombats doing their first album. Think they played eight or nine songs from it, which I'd say is worthy of calling it a celebration of the album without playing it in full. I can't even remember that Sum 41 tour. That Malevolence stage being on it's own actually makes a fair amount of sense.

We thinking it's the same set up as 2021? Two main outdoor stages, two beneath stages in the old Jager and the bottom two as Key Club?

I'm always a bit hesitant to believe a full album is being played when a band say "celebrating" about it rather than "playing it in full". I've seen that before where the band have ended up doing it like they're touring it like a new album, rather than a front to back play.

Finished right before the headliner last year every night, and the Tuts sub finished a bit before main stage sub on the Saturday.

If it's the same as last year, that won't be the clash. More likely to be clashing with Aitch. The Snuts were playing while I was watching Maximo Park in the spot they've got.

The only other headliner that it would hurt to miss would be Yellowcard. I'm definitely living in hope that doesn't happen, but if it doesn't then... oh well.

Being at Download pretty much ruled them out instantly.

I think the only band I can guarantee I'll be seeing is Enter Shikari. Because absolutely nobody could have been announced could have changed that.

RB can't be Thursday since that's Chic. I'd guess Friday with Kasabian on the Sunday. KC tend to have their biggie on the Sunday.

If I were going to this, I'd be quite happy tbh. Apart from Blossoms who I think are a bit shit, but wouldn't be the first time I've gone to a festival with a headliner that didn't work for me, and there's enough on there.

Probably down to location, but Blossoms ahead of Kaiser Chiefs as headliner seems a bit off.

Fair enough. YYYs probably would have gone a way to convince me to go to this. So it'll be interesting to see what comes out here.
