I got through three times. Three laptops, all on different public IPs, auto-refreshing @ 1 second on single chrome tabs. Got through three times on the one laptop. It's just pot luck of hitting the back-end at the microsecond where there's a session available -- but it's all about maximising your chances.

Maximising chances: an auto refresh extension, an autohotkey script / form filler, and as many devices on different public IP addresses as possible. There's nothing else that can really help you.

Completely agree about the banging of the toilet doors. My wife and I were sitting right up the front of the main stage in our camping chairs waiting for the headliner to come on. Once the King Gizzard came on the banging of the doors was so loud that I could barely hear the band. It completely ruined the experience. We had to pack up our chairs and slowly make our way out of the crowd. Everyone around us looked really upset about the situation too, so we weren't alone. He looked like a fabulous performer too. We made an official complaint to a festival steward on our way off site.

What was the end result of the rain then lads? I couldn't make it this year -- have fun all!

Thanks all for a wonderful weekend. The brutalness of Friday couldn't dampen the spirits. Back in London now with severe depression. Obvious highlights for me were the Walkmen, Comet is Coming and Goat. But as usual, the bookers always nail it - I never seem to dislike anything.

Ben Beaumont-Thomas from the Guardian would have given it 10 out of 5 and said it was a transcendental experience and reeled off so many superlatives that the reader vomited. His reviews are beyond embarassing (try the Sam Fender review from Glastonbury 2022).

Hasn't the festival booking policy just become more mainstream, more for the masses? And AM have gone the other way?
