That's not true at all. It never sells out of day tickets, or weekend for that matter. I live just down the road and can always walk along and pick a ticket up.
Not looking good this year. I honestly think it's a dying festival. I only have a ticket as they were practically giving them away to locals. They're really struggling. I would not be at all surprised if this was its last year.

Kite Hill campsite is a 15 minute bus ride from site - http://www.kitehillfarm.co.uk/
Very basic but also very cheap. There is a bus stop just outside where you will be able to catch a bus directly to the festival. I would book as there are normally a fair few people who will be camping there over the festival weekend.

Obviously compared to a festival like V, Isle of Wight has plenty going on, so I suppose it depends on what you compare it to.

The IOW has very little else to offer if the acts are rubbish. It's a pretty poor festival tbh

John Giddings has said in the local paper that there will be a line-up announcement this month.
Next Friday (24th) would be my guess.

Yeah...have a great one guys. I'm absolutely gutted I didn't get a ticket. It's the best line-up in 10 years for me, and the weather is looking pretty much perfect.

At least it's looking like that Saturday rain is the only rain we have to do battle with over the whole weekend.
