  1. I think @stuartbert two hats actually commented during the festival that his was roasting hot.
  2. Nice one! That's great to hear
  3. So how did these hold up under those brutal conditions? Sounds like they had a proper test. I'm interested as I'll be using mine for the first time at Boomtown this year. Hopefully we wont be dealing with similar temperatures but you never know.

  5. I was only watching from home but... 1. IDLES 2. Fontaines DC (JP) 3. Janelle Monae
  6. Watching from home I really wasn’t expecting to like it but there is no denying he smashed it. Apart from when he wheeled Chris Martin out. What was that about? Just felt a bit odd.
  7. Yeah. For sure it’s the next best thing to being there.
  8. Begin a romantic relationship with an Eavis. Anyone will do.
  9. Yeah, it's tough. The weather is certainly making it worse - but it is what it is. I'll be watching all the coverage and trying to embrace it as much as possible. I will do whatever it takes to get back there next year.
  10. Dude, cheers for that. What an album!
  11. Yes guys! I'm out of up votes. I'll pop back tomorrow.
  12. Ok cool, cheers. Getting very exited for my first Boomtown now. I'll be even more so once Glastonbury is over and I can stop feeling depressed about not having a ticket for that!
  13. Not too long to go now guys. Any idea when we can expect this year's map?
  14. Had a really good day at IOW on the Sunday. One thing you have to give them credit for is the organisation of it all. Everything just runs flawlessly now - they really have ironed out all the problems from a few years back. Really hope they can start to move this festival forward again. There has clearly been a decline in the size and quality of acts over the last 5 years or so yet they don't seem to have any issues selling tickets. People really do love this festival. I'm hoping to see a strong line-up next year and a couple of the smaller areas come back. Get this festival moving in the right direction again. Fingers crossed.
  15. It’s been lovely here all day. Warm and sunny.
  16. Yep... Camping stoves using small, disposable gas canisters are permitted. Please only bring enough for your needs over the weekend. Excessive quantities may be confiscated. In the event of very hot weather / dry ground conditions we reserve the right to prohibit the use of camping stoves for safety reasons.
  17. Yeah...it's on par with beer cups thrown in the urinals.
  18. It's not easy finding a seat when the ground is ruined - it certainly wasn't in 2016. Plus it's nice to be able to just sit down on the grass wherever you please.
  19. Oh I think it will. I honestly believe future generations will look back at the persecution of drug users with the same sense of shame and horror that we now view the persecution of gay people. Admittedly it make take a couple of hundred years Maybe longer under a Tory government. However, America is leading the way on this. Cannabis now essentially legal everywhere - and Psilocybin now decriminalised in at least 3 states I believe. The tide has definitely turned.
  20. This is how backwards our drug laws are: it's often the legal ones that are more dangerous than the illegal ones. This country's drug laws are in desperate need of reform. The war on drugs has been lost and should never have been waged. I can't think of a right more fundamental than the right to peacefully steward the contents of your own consciousness. Legalise it all. Take the power away from the criminal gangs. And regulate the lot!
