damn was really hoping for horsegirl at glastonbury 😞

ive seen drake live many times and until he knows how to actually but together a proper set then i woudnt like to have him headline. he plays like 15s of 200 songs... roughly.

i wasnt talking about commercially. look at the review scores across all critics. edit: i did a quick google and guts out sold sour in the same time period according to billboard.

her 2nd is an improvement on the first album in every way. by some stretch critically. and yes an artist who understands glastonbury is something. we go on about it all the time for many artists. every year, look at arctics. u they couldnt give a sh*t. Thats a bang average performance. What does it matter it was their 3rd? if anything doesnt that mean it should go to o rod a its her first?! 🤣 billie headlined at the same stage of her career. 2 albums. she may be more of a commercial success but olivia rodrigo had better albums critically. anyhoo, she would be a great headliner, fun and would make it special. she would engage with the crowd and bring out special guests. have a few sing along covers too. would be a top night. could they do "bigger?" yes, is it weak? hell no.

i really hope Sofia Kourtesis is on late late night silver hayes... like a 1am-3am thing, would be magical.

if you thought her performance was average no matter how many fantastic albums she puts out you wont want her headlining. thought she was excellent on the other stage and 2 top tier albums are good enough to headline. billie did, o rod can do it. also she gets glastonbury. check her vogue interview i think it was, she loved it and clearly has a soft spot for the festival.

no way lol. i didnt know she came back out. that was my first ever headliner experience at Glastonbury i was so disappointed. wish id gone to arctics , one of my very few regrets when it comes to headliners.

i think the general expectation is it will be utter trash with small sections where you see the talent on show which leads to depression for what could have been. tbf Donda 1 wasnt awful. that was what... 2 years ago?

depends on timings, girls shower queues are generally longer (especially on the saturday / sunday). Stickle had more girls showers than mens showers this year but that ended up being a bit of a f**k up as the girls had no queue and the mens had a 1hour queue 😂 Id say on a good day its a 30min wait on a bad day 1hour30min in the mornings. obviously if you head back to site at 3pm for a shower there will be no queue at all .

ive stayed in both. its pretty simple. parking is next to the field in both cases. WV : Positives: Closer, you are in the festival inside 5mins. can technically go back to the tent if you need something. Negatives: That hill is a bastard when you are blipped. if its raining its a mare to get up and down it. borderline dangerous if its very wet. noisier too due to being closer to the action. Stickle: Positives: No hill, a flat walk to your campsite (i actually quite enjoyed the walk back at night through the camp sites, other were not happy at length of the walk). Quieter. did i mention no hill? Negatives: Further away (15min walk from the park, maybe 10 if you are quick).

so ive got a dodgy knee and my preference for stick was that its flat. does this new path make it any easier on the ole legs / cardio?

id like to think that considering her label mate and close friend Kendrick headlined she would prob think she isnt quite on that level (yet). Other headliner seems about right for SZA. Or a pyramid sub below madonna?

yes , a fair few people including myself have posted about peoples who confirmed on the link no longer having registrations. i think somebody messed up on the database side and they realised very late.

coach sale was in 4 hours....they should have just gone ahead with it. so many people have booked time off , rotas etc to help with the sale.

those people who are like "oh yeah ill reg now for glasto" will not even remember there is a sale on. i know so many people like that. they never turn up on the day. i dont think it will change the chances of getting tickets a huge amount. Not everyone is like us when it comes to glastonbury.

i know of 2 people who said they had checked their emails and confirmed the reg but it had still been deleted. i assumed it was just BS and an excuse but im beginnign to wonder if somebody messed up somewhere...

if you get to the details page and it crashes and asks you to "resend the data" do you resend or go back and re-enter? i always forgot which one it is
