I’ve got to stop reading this as the lack of any movement makes me anxious for no good reason. Anyone in London got anything yet?

I'm in London and mine was delivered 5 minutes ago (despatch email received on Monday) 😊

It was the security check I was getting at cheers

There are some additional security checks between WV and the festival. They are pretty random, and definitely not as thorough as the initial check from car park to WV campsite, but they definitely do happen.

Anyone know if worthy view is possible with a ticket in the resales? I imagine it will be all sold out by then.

This year there was a Worthy View resale at 11am on the same Sunday as the main ticket resale, and it seemed like there were lots of tents available (although mainly scout tents).

Can't really work out what to have instead that I can bring to work that will fill me up until lunch. Any ideas?

I struggled with this too and then discovered protein pancakes which are amazing. There are lots of recipes online, but I just use vanilla protein powder, one egg and some almond milk. Very easy to make the night before, just need a quick microwave at work ideally (or can eat them cold but not as nice).

Any news on Worthy view or tipis? I've been refreshing every day hoping one would turn up ?

It says on the website that any WV tents or tipis which are cancelled will go back on sale in a resale in April. Seems that unlike previous years, WV are doing a single resale, rather than drip feed tents back online as and when they are cancelled...

I have booked for the first time a pod and I thought on the website it says it comes with air mattresses. On the website it says "Weatherproof, with a solid carpeted floor and raised beds with inflated air mattresses, creating useful storage space underneath."

Has anything changed from 2 years ago? Did any one stay in one last year?

Hi radioahed, so sorry, you're totally right, the pods do come with air mattresses. I was getting confused with the scout tents which don't, apologies!

Hadn't thought of that in all honesty, just assumed they wouldn't refund it. I'll get my mate to look into it and see they're willing to refund.

I made the same mistake last year. I called see tickets and they refunded me the car park ticket cost immediately :)

  8. Hi Lucy, we stayed in a two man podpad two years ago and it definitely felt more like a bed. It is essentially a wooden shelf (you have to bring your own air bed to put on top) but being level and raised does help a lot. Unfortunately, I would be surprised if any come back on sale as there were so few (although they might have increased capacity this year). From memory I would say there were max 30 of them, compared with hundreds of scout tents. Worth keeping an eye on it though.

  9. Definitely agree re the lack of food options in WV.

As for showers, the queues were longer late morning. I would say about 30-45 minutes for girls, a bit less for boys. The changing areas were fine but quite cramped and muddy (unsurprisingly really with last year's conditions). Take wet wipes to clean your feet between getting out the shower and putting your wellies back on! The showers themselves were good though, lots of hot water etc.

Surprisingly the toilet queues were long too - most mornings i used the long drops on the main site rather than queue 20 minutes for the nicer toilet in WV.

  10. Hi @chrismcb, I've got a place volunteering so please can you remove me plus one from the spreadsheet? Sorry for the late notice, and I hope it doesn't mess up your groups.

Please put me down to help in both coach and general sales. And thank you SO much for the time and effort you have put into this, incredibly kind of you.

  11. If you have the time and inclination, I would recommend trying to get as fit as you can in the run up to the festival. Being more fit this year made a huge difference to me, and I felt I saw much more of the site as a result. As someone else mentioned above, you could easily walk 10 miles a day which, for most, is a lot more than everyday life!

  12. Thank you so much for setting this up @chrismcb. Your organisation and effort will (hopefully) result in some very happy people in April. I have added the details for the two coach tickets we're after, and will obviously do my utmost to help anyone else i can. Many thanks again.

  13. Personally I thought this year seemed worse than previous years. I can't remember ever having to queue before but definitely had to this year. I think it was partly due to hot chip at block nine being so popular, but also the mud just making everything so much slower. Having said that, we didn't queue for longer than 10 minutes to get into the SE area itself and maybe another 10 for an individual venue which isn't too bad (and this was straight after headliners finished).

  14. Hi all,

I've been an avid reader on here for a few years but never had the guts to actually post...

But after the events of last week (failed in both sales, having been successful in October for the last 3 years), i need to get involved and commiserate with other people who get how special Glastonbury is, and will understand why i'm so gutted. I'm not giving up though, and am determined to make it there somehow, be it in the resale or working. I could end up going solo, so would be nice to come to the meet having spoken to some people on here first!
