Really pleased to say this is now a moot point as we’re both in with Oxfam after some more spaces were released this afternoon! Although thanks to those that replied in the interim period with helpful messages - definitely helped settle some jitters!

So here’s a question to those in the know about Oxfam - I was lucky enough to get a space this morning but unfortunately my other half wasn’t. We’re obviously going to keep trying but how might this impact on the chances of us getting the same shifts (assuming she does eventually get a place)? The FAQs on the website say that people signing up after the cancellation deadline (ie anyone from now onwards) has a 24 hour window to submit their shift partners, but obviously I can’t put someone down who isn’t currently going. Any thoughts? And also a big thanks to all in this thread that have shared tips and advice - it’s been really helpful

As a resaler - this seems like a good headliner from the point of view of tickets going back into the pot (at least from casuals/first timers)

Fortunate enough to have succeeded in the resale every time I’ve tried - 2013, 2019, and 2022. As a member of the resale club this year I’m very much hoping that luck continues

The Springsteen/Blur clash in London that night is a bit of a killer. Hoping 'only UK date' at the very least leaves room for another Wembley night - and as others have said, possibility of warm ups in Europe?

Decided not to go for this after thinking nothing could come close to the Pyramid slot... pretty tempted to pick up something for Manchester next week given these reviews.

Did anyone else find the process of moving between pages once you get to enter regs stage to be quite different this year? I don't just mean the general instability - I've done 5 of the last 6 fests including last year and don't remember the rolling wheel of doom ever playing such a big part before, but it may be my anxiety addled mind misremembering. I also had major issues with 'back' for the first time ever, mainly it successfully taking me back to the previous page but with the button to proceed being greyed out and blocking any resubmit of details. Was it just me?

Checking in to resale club here and keen to join up with others too - this is my first post since 2018 and wish it was in more positive circumstances, but we go again in April. I will need the 5 months to recover from the stress of that failing payment page (rubbish to see how many others had exactly the same issue) On a lighter note of the five fests I've done so far three of them involved getting tickets in the resale, so it really can be done.
