If last train home is missed I try and find a casino and have a couple of slow beers as far away from the table as I can get, tends to be open until the trains start again

Jumped in at the deep end with IoW festival this weekend and it was such a fantastic atmosphere. Everyone, including acts and even most of the staff/traders just seemed so grateful to be there.

Just in case anyone needs some fuel thrown on the fire; this performance is largely responsible for me getting into Queens of the Stone Age, and festivals really: A friend of mine came back from Reading 05 and showed me this clip, tight then I knew that I wanted to see the band ASAP and be at Reading in 06 It wouldn't be in my top 20 songs of theirs now but I always enjoy revisiting this clip.

It's good to see the Victorious blimp flying over Southsea again!

All aboard the hype train for QotSA on Other. Last time round was probably my favourite QotSA gigs and one of my favourite festival slots ever. More than happy to do it again with a few more albums in the bag. I would see Billie but with that clash.
