  1. The Other Stage has merch (mainly t shirts/hoodies) of those playing its stage, and West Holts has the CDs/vinyls of its performers. I can't remember seeing other stalls.
  2. A fat Nick Cave? Not sure even AI can create that.
  3. I think they started last time, it was just the one spot for quiet for neurodiverse people to get respite if needed.
  4. Watch out for any routes near Bath, they have a clean air zone that large vehicles pay for. I've skirted Bath and gone in via Frome previously to meet friends and drive in together.
  5. Yay! They arrived, 2 tickets and a CV ticket.
  6. If anyone has a satnav (eg Garmin), these should be able to route you outside of these areas (avoid Environmental Areas). I've got a motorhome and thought I'd have problems getting round Bath from the East, and avoiding the Bristol and motorway traffic on the West, but it got me quickly onto the motorway further North without a fine.
  7. I bought this for my wife (I know, romance eh?) which is USB A outputs but USB C / micro USB charging inputs. It should see you right for 2-3 days. Deal of the day: Anker Power Bank, 325 Portable Charger (PowerCore Essential 20K) 20000mAh Battery Pack with High-Speed PowerIQ Technology and USB-C (Input Only) for iPhone, Samsung Galaxy, and More https://amzn.eu/d/hAqnpCf If you wanted ipad charging, I got this, 1.5 times as heavy though. It has USB A and C outputs (where the USB C slot also charges. When I say 'got', it was great until it packed up 11 months later and I got a refund. Anker Power Bank, PowerCore III Elite 25600 PD 60W Power Delivery Portable Charger for USB C MacBook Air/Pro/Dell XPS, iPad Pro 2020, iPhone 11 Pro/11 /XS Max/X/8, Samsung and More https://amzn.eu/d/0yUEXLS

I think you'll be OK in the CV fields. The issue was them being left along with everything on the festival site. I got a great one in 2018(?) that had been left. Since then, the numbers have dropped.
  10. What's in a name? That which we call a Glastonbury / By any other name would smell as sweet.
  11. Please do feel free to come along. There may be sticker badges so you can see who you are with or near, but that doesn't mean you have to only speak to certain people. I've met new people there, and existing friends. The only stress I've known there is in my head (neuro diversity, crowds & not being able to read people), not aggro from people. Ok, there is group banter from what people have posted here over weeks or years, but the other end of the spectrum is where a group of my friends met on this forum and arranged to camp together as they were all singles / not in groups, and the friendship flourished. And if you don't want to go, that's obvs fine too 👍🏻.
  12. You may not need to. I recently ported my number to a new supplier, and posted WhatsApp messages to an existing group as the thread was already on the phone I had the new SIM in, using the new number. I then ported my number back to my first supplier and continued with the WhatsApp thread with no issues. Yeah, the crazy double porting was to get a better deal with Lebara that was only available to new customers so I had to close my contract, begin a new contract elsewhere and then go back to take a new contract to get it. The benefit of rolling 30 day contracts!
  13. How old are your kids? Chocolate, soft drinks, snacks etc. are expensive so taking them (and leaving in lockups for storage?) will save you money, maybe something for breakfast at the tent, leaving onsite options for the rest. Or, reusable water bottles for each of them? There has been a £5 scheme on many stalls to keep some food cheaper, but the green/healing fields and up the hill towards the tipis will have veggie/vegan cheaper options. Others are across the site, another thread gives details on general food. I think the tea tent is over there too, 50p a cup. People rave over the mac & cheese stall in the Acoustic field, there'll be other variants around which should be cheaper. Can you buy the larger portions and divide them out? As a cheaper memento, are the Guardian newspaper fabric bags still being sold? Maybe get one each for carrying stuff and a souvenir unless you're buying shirts. If these are teens, then phone charger packs are all they need 😁
  14. Another passed MOT, we'll be there in Quiet (except for my cousin's snoring!)
  15. You'll be fine, they'll get it under the table. If you need to get something out but not everything at once, book stuff in smaller batches (eg beer, clothing). Otherwise, they'll give you everything and you'll need to book the stuff you don't need back in.
  16. You have an impressive range of brews! Apologies, I follow you on twitter (I think it was your Turkish Delight brew that caught my eye) but hadn't got round to looking on your site, I will rectify that soon with an order.
  17. I've ordered some impys to pick up this weekend for, er, research. Tartarus have started using cans, I'm enjoying De Moersleutel in general, Azvex Vantablack, Unbarred Stoutzilla this weekend. Northern Monk Heaven, and Death are worth a look out. Beak and St Mars of the Desert(?) are also producing good stuff. Think I did a can share with@balti-pie and another, which was great, thanks!
  18. I bought a better insulated bottle for daytime storage which copes with carbonation, although I'd imagine wrapping a can in a wet tea towel in a bag would help through the day (although I'd book the bag into the lockups). However, I found the temperature wasn't bad on the cans I had each day anyway.
  19. Yeah, it would be nice to have good beers on site, but who's big enough (and experienced at this serving scale) to supply the entire site, and make a profit on £6 pints/cans? Northern Monk? Verdant? Will there be appetite for more expensive cans for those who don't normally drink independent beers? I've had Laguna at Bluedot, Whitelock's (pub) served at Beacons Festival, but those are/were smaller sites. In the meantime, I can recommend Wishbone Brewery's Black Imp Imperial Stout for a small can night cap.
  20. Can you get a round ended serrated knife? I'd think that would be more acceptable, and easier to justify for food prep.
  21. I don't want to run their festival, but if they limit the shower duration (navy shower) and wear layers/fleeces instead of heating, I'm convinced 1 canister will be enough. With Glastonbury and showers for 4, and then Winter weekends with heating for 2, I've never used a full tank. That also saves you time and worry getting another canister.
