    Flying out on the Wednesday. Flying back with the same airline (Vueling). I need to investigate more, once my annoyance has subsided. Thanks for the suggestions, I wanted direction to Barcelona but 100% look into them. Cheers

    Just woke up not to great news. My flight from Birmingham has been cancelled and after a quick panic look, it doesn’t appear I’ve a direct flight from there on the day I want. Need to look into it more, but this is really concerning for me as I might have to completely cancel 😭

    Just looking at the VIP ticket, and always wondered what you actually get with it apart from access to the various stands. The description gives a very high level summary (although that could just be me, expecting to see more and that really is it). Not wanting to get into a debate on value, so can someone be kind enough to list the perks? thanks in advance

    Just left Pet Shop Boys gig, and I’m not a massive fan. I like the hits, as it reminds me of my youth. But they were exceptional, smashed through the hits and the crowd loved them.

    I land Thursday morning. a long trip, as I’m Las Vegas at the moment for a festival. Land in the Uk tomorrow, get home, eat toast, pick up second suitcase, fly to Barcelona. Whilst battling jetlag

    I got Petshop Boys ticket with ease. Which really surprised me. it was a tough call, as I wanted to see Japanese Breakfast and Jockstrap too. But made the decision that I’d likely see them elsewhere. Could only pick something from the Sunday, as I don’t land until the day of the festival due to another holiday (flying from one holiday, to the festival. Terrible planning and jet lag will be a struggle).

    Yes, Moseley Folk Festival is the same weekend. The Civic has been nothing but a farce, 8 years closure, £40 odd million over budget with a lacklustre opening line up. The promotion company was so active before, answering questions about it. Now, they don’t even acknowledge the post. Gut feeling says it’s doomed. Hope I’m wrong.

    Has anyone heard anything about this? Mira been postponed a number of times, with initial reasons understandable. But I found last year a bit flimsy. It’s now pencilled in for September 2023, but it’s very quiet and the once active Instagram account has gone a bit quiet. Being a local, I really want this event to happen, but I’m unable to find anything. Thanks in advance

    Cheers for the response and appreciate your view. Yeah, I’ve got my hotel booked (free cancellation) in preparation. Apart from Glastonbury, I’m not a fan of buying a festival ticket blind. DM are great live, but need to see a few more and want to get my finance balances right before pressing the ‘buy’ button. I don’t mind grabbing one in a resale, if finances work better around that time. thanks for the insight.

    Now my other summer plans haven't materialised, I'm considering going back next year to Barcelona. Just booked my hotel in preparation, as it was a pain to sort out last time (this year was my first time, and purchased it via the Dice resale). As it will be my first time purchasing the ticket direct, how soon do they tend to sell out? I'm guessing a lot of people will be waiting for further guest announcements. Thanking in advance

    I got a complete bag search and Pat down. Completely surprised me.

    When queuing, and initially allowed in (they said doors open at 3pm, let everyone through security and then we had to re-queue) the security guard just glanced in my bag. The second time a different guard felt my bag, pulled out my suncream and put it back in and ushered me through.

    Someone stood next to me collapsed. They appeared to be ok, but need to leave. Looked like they came overwhelmed with the crowd. They just dropped.

    Festival. It’s not huge, but still a queue. When they can get their act in order it will quickly move on.

    Yeah, I’m going blind. thanks for that. Waiting in the queue, well the second attempt of a queue. Let everyone in past the fencing, then told everyone they done it too early. So everyone has to queue back up
