Got to say all these festival rumours this year are sounding hugely dissapointing.
-
Tonight Alive? Are they the ones who done a decent song for Spiderman?
-
Lower Than Atlantis coming back hopefully.
-
I’d be absolutely shocked if FoB done it, way to big for the festival now, but they did do it in 2006.
-
You Me At Six done Cardiff & Nottingham arena in January with Waterparks I believe, but neither sold out.
-
They seemed to go down really well last time they played?
-
I Prevail would headline over Electric Callboy.
-
Tbh I think they always sound the same, but yeah agree with the slot issue that’s the problem but it’s happened a lot in the past with the likes of Chase & Status having a sub slot due to Prodigy, it would seem like a waste of a big slot.
-
They’ve played Download before and had people outside the tent trying to watch them.
-
Royal Blood?
-
Alice Cooper a nailed on 2nd stage headliner, I think Dickinson will sub him.
-
It’s all well and good playing multiple arena tours but if you don’t sell them shows out tells me there isn’t much of a demand for that band, we had people disputing if Fall Out Boy could headline when they’ve sold out every date on their upcoming UK arena tour.
-
Are Queens Of The Stone Age even that big? None of the tour has sold out apart from Bournemouth which is a small venue, when you consider Bring Me are selling out 2 nights at the O2.
-
Could Pendulum do it?
-
Avenged Sevenfold / Pantera / Sabaton Alice Cooper / Black Stone Cherry Fall Out Boy / Enter Shikari / Good Charlotte Machine Head / Anthrax QOTSA / Limp Bizkit / Alice In Chains Sum 41 / Bowling For Soup
-
100% confirmation there will be no Download then.
-
No way Machine Head sub Avenged Sevenfold after Rob Flynn criticised them a few years back, basically calling them a cover band.
-
I’d imagine we’ll be seeing Machine Head, Trivium, Five Finger Death Punch & Lamb Of God showing up on the lineup somewhere.
-
And it wouldn’t even surprise me if we end up with that.
-
They don’t shift the level of tickets Fall Out Boy have though, regardless if they’ve headlined in Europe.
-
Blink have hinted at more dates to be announced, do R&L announce early?
-
Because it was a package hella mega tour that was delayed because of Covid in stadiums, they won’t be subbing a UK festival again imo.
-
There’s no way Fall Out Boy sub, especially with the ticket sales they have done on this tour.
-
And their last UK show is the 4th November, they’ll probably stick around on the 5th record an interview with R1 to tie in with the announcement on the 6th.
