    2019 Headliners

I don’t think Liam Gallagher will headline. I reckon he could be a very strong sub under a band he really respects. He supported the Rolling Stones at London stadium

    2019 Possibilities (Non-Headliner)

So Liam Gallagher is apparently releasing an album soon / probably next year. Considering he had quite a low slot last year I could see him being given a big leg up - possibly pyramid sub / other stage headliner? I’d say pyramid sub is more likely. Catfish & Bottlemen, The Streets and Liam Gallagher would make decent pyramid subs for 2019

    2019 Headliners

Because technically it's not a repeat booking and you're essentially booking a different act. Plus since Glasto wants the mahoosive headliners, Beyonce, Jay-Z, Coldplay, Blur all in one weekend on top of a stacked lineup really celebrates 50 years of the festival

Just realised I said 20th anniversary lol. Meant 50th Yeah true - but then if 2020 is going big they could always ask them to do a one-off show. If one has an album coming out relatively soon it would be good hype

    Foo Fighters

    I'm going on Saturday!

    2019 Headliners

The Carters for the 20th anniversary? Would be good considering both of them were legendary sets in the festivals history. 2019: Arctic Monkeys, Fleetwood Mac, The 1975 2020: The Carters, Coldplay, Blur.

    Arctic Monkeys 2019

I won't be surprised if we get another album pretty soon - maybe by the end of next year. I can't see them fucking off again for five years after this. I wasn't really expecting them to do an album like TBH&C, i'd thought they'd go for their most commercial sounding stuff yet... I imagine that's probably next to come.

    Tour Announcements & Upcoming Gigs

Managed to secure a ticket for Foo Fighters this Saturday. I live right by Olympic Park and have never made it to a show so quite excited for this one!

Yeah it’s the distancing from oasis that seems to be hurting him. I agree if he went all for it and released some Oasis style material he’d be a rival to liam.

Noel has been schooled by liam. I’m impressed with Liam’s ability to basically turn his career around. You can disagree but I think Liam is now bigger solo than Noel in his peak
  12. I disagree, I think the popular festivals are changing In my opinion, Glastonbury, Boomtown, Parklife are more popular than Reading, V/Rize etc - there's been a shift in popularity - these festivals are capturing an audience that the past 'big hitters' fail to grasp. For example, those three are popular because they have gained a loyal crowd that go every year - Reading etc is completely dependant on booking acts to draw people in - it's not the festival itself that draws people in anymore

    RICH HOUSE, POOR HOUSE.... REALLY?????

I'm 21 and I barely watch any tv - It's not exactly a 'getting older thing'. I feel like what is shown on tv is getting further and further away from reality and it's warping the public. Maybe it was always like this and i'm just being ignorant, but i'm seeing how unrealistic standards of living are trickling out of the screen and influencing the lives of many people. Take Love Island for example, it's shite tv and enticing because it presents a standard of living that very few people actually relate to... maybe that explains it's popularity, but I worry for my younger cousins etc growing up in such a media heavy world.

    2019 Stage Predictions

Chemical Brothers on other stage is not a disappointment though is it? Probably the best set I’ve seen at the festival (2015). if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. Plus frees up some of the fee and is an easy name to split crowds
