  1. So the latest suggestion is that it's actually Rihanna that has pulled out with Blackpink potentially getting the bump. Either way, 3 of Bad Bunny, Blackpink, Rihanna and Frank Ocean is pretty terrible.
  2. Not a chance Pedulum doing 3rd on main, it's way too light for them. If Placebo can headline second then so can Pendulum. Placebo only did an arena tour recently as it was a 20 years tour, their usual is an academy tour maybe with a little lager London date as you can sell it there.
  3. To the two above, if they pulled that out I don't think anything beats it this year for me. I find The Prodigy one strange as if they are doing Glastonbury which I suspect they will be, it's either not an exclusive or they are choosing to take one low wage. Have they? Didn't Ashcroft pull for a genuine reason though.
  4. Got a very good feeling we will be getting The Prodigy, Noel, The Cribs, Johnny Marr and potentially dickie in the next one. That would be a mammoth announcement for me.
  5. Well with Lizzo/Capaldi likely to sub Guns. As pointed out, years back Glastonbury might have had Arctic Monkeys, QOTSA and Royal Blood but here has been a change. Although, Radiohead, The XX and Royal Blood isn't that dissimilar. IF they aren't under Arctics then I can only see it under Elton and for a act for a locals I can't see Disco 2000, Common People and Do you remember the first time? being bettered by many. I kinda just don't see Pulp into Arctics, they will blow them away. The only alternative I see is if say Capaldi was actually Other headliner but that would still mean Lizzo would go 3rd down.
  6. I could just cope with Friday but it's dreadful. Anyone complaining about paying late £300s for Glastonbury should look at this. Difference is though it's different markets. It's naturally aimed at a different crowd and age.
  7. I don't care about the whole Glastonbury/Coachella debate to be honest. I think you are very bias over your own countries festival though whereas Glastonbury is mine and I'm more than happy to say against a booking.
  8. Supposedly Frank Ocean has pulled out last minute. Also, artists that are subbing or second line down should be third at best. Kinda through the grapevine on a private forum, I've got no names to go at. Worth passing on.
  9. Spice Girls an early shout for the 2024 Legends slot. Also can't see past Dua Lipa and Blur atm for two headline slots. If it's not Taylor next year then DM or Eminem. Given how the booking of Reading's in particular MSW headliners had gone in previous years and their older style sub bookings as to Glastonbury positions, it looked obvious that Capaldi would be there given Foals played last year and ID are doing later shows here. Lizzo playing 3rd down goes along with HAIM, Janet Jackson, Katy Perry so a bit of history there. Personally I think it's set up well for Sam Smith to be the Other stage headliner that night.
  10. it's coming, and has been so. It's never going to be shut off etc as that's country law alcohol etc.
  11. Don't quite by this anymore. That's already been caught out this year.
  12. It wasn't as bad as that 10 years ago, admittingly with the likes of what they book now it is inevitable. But if you think Glastonbury isn't all about instagram, tiktok and social media now you would be wrong. It is dragging more and more than way. They had an Other stage headliner typifying that this year.
  13. you're like the Kanye West of efestivals. Negative, miserable and almost want everyone to notice you for every shit reason.
  14. Queens won't be up against Guns. it would explain the shit you keep talking, though I don't think that's fairon the cat to give the credit
  15. Possibly not but I bet he asks and gives his view. I'd still be surprised if they put him up against The Prodigy. It's just too much of a risk for me for that time slot to be talked about the wrong band for them.
  16. I think the crossover appeal of Guns and The Prodigy is too much. They are both bands that everyone in their owns genres will still know. They aren't going to make an exception at a risk of taking fans away from a booking that might be seen too late and over the hill anyway.
  17. There is no importance to that for me. The Prodigy won't play Friday with Sam Smith Sunday
  18. Black Keys can only do Sunday. Personally I don't think Arctic Monkeys will want to go up against a dance heavy act act and their last two appearances suggests they won't be. Alex won't want to be blown off stage so to speak. It'll definitely be someone lighter.
  19. Maybe Royal Blood are Other subs. edit: I know times have changed etc but they did book Arctics, Kasabian and The Fratellis after each other. I'm pretty convinced Yje Prodigy won't be doing Other Saturday. If two of my headliners were GNR and The Prodigy that would be great for me. What if it was Arctic Monkeys, Paramore, Royal Blood and QOTSA in the rock slot? I'm also pretty convinced Pulp are Sunday subs. When I look back, the Friday 2013 pyramid stage below The Vaccines was awful.
  20. This would be good. I could see QOTSA subbing Arctic's, I think Alex and Josh are friends too. That would put The Prodigy for me on Sunday which if not Friday is ideal. Just worth noting maybe that all 3 times even even the 4th time The Prodigy were going to play Glastonbury were either Friday or Sunday, I don't think it'll be Saturday so I'll change that. Sam Smith who we have info on apparently, Doja Cat, The Prodigy is what I'll go for. The Black Keys under The Prodigy makes sense.
  21. I'm just hoping the Sam Smith Friday Other info is dud and it's in fact The Prodigy with Sam Smith subbing Arctics. He's not going to be below Guns but he could be opposite. I don't see him on Sunday.
