@siscoquite a decent ending to January, 3 festival I have interest announcing lineups within around a week/week and a half. Not so decent for the bank account although 1 is paid already. Think I've decided that after £70 odd for the Victorious ticket, I can't justify even the further £150 on on 3 nights plus I'd stay the previous night so that's £185. For that I would be a good 25 minutes away walking so easier just to do the camping that's included and get the bus.

I wouldn't say it's a lower tier. Just for the record, Reading isn't a lower tier, it's just booked for a certain market like Coachella is now a lot more than it used to be. They have done well electronically this year though, better than some other years for a while. The problem sometimes I think with your posts is that your bias of Coachella takes your responses and actions to a non factual/exaggerated account of what's been said. One thing I'll say is though that as an event with anything for night time after acts finish it is fairly poor. You could say not every festival runs until 1pm as standard but then many festival will start by midday and Coachella is comfortably after 1pm each day so if you tracked that back by 1hr/1hr:30 it's equivalent.

I doubt they are going to play anyway. They are having at least 22/23 days between Europe/America breaks on the tour. They have 18 days between their Bonnaroo date in Tennessee and their New Orleans date. Given they are having a 4 day gap just between a gig in Hollywood Florida and Bonnaroo, they only have a 5 day gap before the festival day starts. They would likely have 6/7 days here, missing the likes of Werchter for example before flying back to play a series of dates within a few hours of where they already are. They are going to do later summer dates. If their tour hear didn't finish late April then possibly but it's barely two months space.

GnR and QOTSA one after another on the Pyramid is very against what Glastonbury would usually do imo. I can see them under Arctics as it's more of an indie act than rock act. Elton isn't a rock act though is he but I'll take your point about the collaboration. He doesn't put it in his shows though. Queens are only under Arctics for me if not that Sunday slot. But I personally think Elton/The Prodigy divides a crowd more than Elton/Queens. A lot of people had to make The Prodigy/Blur choice before.

I thought it would make sense. Niche rock act vs pop act. Or do you believe Elton isn't the kind of pop act to please all vs a QOTSA? I would definitely choose Elton without a doubt but I'm not a Queens fan really. I'd never pay to go to their tour. They won't be below GNR or opposite. Other than that, I think a local on here believe they may play under Arctic Monkeys. I think if so and Royal Blood went 3rd which was hinted a while back then 4th and 5th that day must be almost certainly female acts. I think the top two will look something like: Arctics, QOTSA Sam Smith, Halsey GNR, Capaldi/Lizzo Doja Cat, Anne-Marie Elton, Pulp The Prodigy, The Black Keys I would expect Capaldi/Lizzo to play either of those but I'm expecting Capaldi to play a equivalent sub slot.

Lizzo is on Saturday apparently but that prediction is why it wouldn't happen lol. It's so heavily stacked. Other sub and 3rd Friday would be one up. Belle and Sebastien won't be 4th pyramid and Maneskin 6th...switch maybe. Bon Iver and The Black Keys both head other and sub respectively. Sam Smith is a sub. The Prodigy and Lana would both play the same slot. Anne-Marie is Other sub, she played 4th equivalent in 2019 with no arenas.

There is some undercard I can get behind but the headliners and subs are shit.

Rosalia is Sunday. You missed Adam Beyer on Sunday. in The Chems, Eric Prydz and Fisher they have 3 big dance acts plus Adam Beyer and Calvin Harris. That's good diversity. I would have The Chems maybe, Blondie, Yungblud, Idris Elba cause I like him as an actor. Eric Prydz Solo, The Kid Laroi maybe, Underworld Adam Beyer, Sasha & John Digweed. I'd see Calvin Harris.

Not in a good way. Not really know, bar the Do Lab if it's still there. But you should remember it's not a festival the size of Glastonbury. Every other festival here posts the acts that are playing and there is nothing more just like their Bonnaroo and Lolla's etc. There is no big night scene except your people going to score and get high but not everyone at Glastonbury is interested in the extra night scenes apart from the actual stages that go later.

It won't improve in the future Someone on the forums seemed to suggest it was Biebier who asked for more money later on. That person also got the other headliners plus the Frank sub, the would be sub in Blackpink. I don't remember either Gorillaz or Bjork though. They've certainly shifted stuff around but taken long enough to not head a replacement head and just bump upp. It does confirm though that Gorillaz aren't all out headliners now.

I've got 9 acts I'd see with a few a case of I'd be happy to see them. Saturday is weakest day for me easily although I'd expect Calvin Harris to be closing main stage that day. It's certainly not worth the money for me.

Wouldn't be ticket money recouped. but I'd be okay with it. I have a wedding that weekend or Adam Beyer/Cirez and Charlotte De Witte would be ace.

Coachella's issue now is that they primarily book a certain couple of genres of acts that have a high tendancy of dropping out for whatever reason
