    I'm 145,647 in the queue for a venue with 18,000 capacity 😁

I'm 102k.....waiting for Neil to post and tell me that he had all the results already.

By several metrics - highest grossing tour, most streamed artist in the world for 3 years in a row - he actually is. Or at least close enough to the #1 slot as to make this argument pointless. Would he headline Glastonbury? Clearly not, but that's a very different question.

Do you know how much stuff I can go and stream and play by just clicking on it? I already had a decent idea I wouldn't like before playing it.

You know all these artists getting tops spots like Lizzo in America that people here are putting high up UK Festivals. I don't even see Bad Bunny hitting them.

His most famous song is 7 years old and it's popular because it's got woman laying down etc in a dark room wearing not much at all. If I went back to watch that video, that would be the reason I'd do it.

I'm not against the guy but you can't just make some Puerto Rican rap and be called a pop artist.

Nope. I'd hazard a guess that it probably won't either without either some strong supports announced or reduced priced tickets.

For what it's worth, certain people will say the lack of selling out Hyde Park tells you everything....even after multiple sold out stadium shows.

The realistic side is that Hyde Park is shite lol. Sound is usually shit unless you hit the right spot, it's up there with Ally Pally as an indoor arena as a venue I just wouldn't go unless I had to.

Yeah cause booking the most popular artist in the world right now is certainly seen as a bad thing nowadays. Gotta appeal to the lawn chair punters.

Let's get one thing straight, when it comes to 'music', Bad Bunny is not the most popular artist in the world. In your head he is because of your bias towards American music, events and your inability to accept anything out of this scenario.

I'm not a lawn chair punter lol, I've never taken a chair to prop up a main stage. I go to Slam Dunk etc, I'm in the pit.

What is this actually on? Are Guns and Roses specifically mentioned. Why are they playing Iggy shows? They're hardly supporting them. Not saying it's not Duff, or Guns and Roses, but there's no proof that that's him or them. Speaking as a lawyer like...

Jesus, way too much to say based on that info. Lawyers!!!! Get out of work mode!

Doesn’t confirm anything. He said a show at Glastonbury but could be talking about the town. Believing too much in unreliable sources!!

You two are a great double act in a not great way.

The response will be "at least its not Bad Bunny". Thats how people will convince themselves 🤣

That's a pretty good way to convince yourself of any band though.

Maybe some of us thought Infinity On High was their peak 😬

After Infinity on High. Fall Out Boy were dead apart from the first two songs on Save Rock and Roll. This tune is alright though. You won't beat Take this to your grave and From under the cork tree.

Mate just posted on our WhatsApp group that he logged into the Live Nation presale and there were 66,000 people in front of him in the queue.

That’s three O2’s worth of demand alone, and the Live Nation sale isn’t even that well publicised.

Honestly, it's a very small tour for Madonna to put on in England. She could near enough tell anything she wanted to. But at those prices, if she's not going to do Glastonbury in the 24/25 you'd imagine it's a no.

What single show would I spend £430 on? I can't even fathom it. I saw Elton John for under £100 in a field last year and also got Rina, Gabriels and more. The only bigger artist left alive is Macca and my favourite band is still under £100 as well.

Did anyone see what resales were like for that Taylor Hawkins tribute gig in London? Would have been the scummiest resale ever, dunno if such a thing was possible at the time. I'd have paid £400 for that but that's a six-hour show with multiple legends.

£400 for the Taylor Tribute show? It was a very good night but I wouldn't have paid a lot more than what I did.

Sorry yeah meant second headliners, dunno why I wrote that.

I think they expected to open for Metallica, saw that they weren't and bounced. Just a theory. But they still haven't dropped ANY UK dates so I have no clue what's going on.

I'm guessing as well that Download tried lowball them like BMTH multiple times. No way Download didn't try and book Pantera even if it's not really them.

  9. 1 hour ago, BenG92 said:

Chinny said Pantera were booked but pulled out. Which along with his other info I fully believe, I think Download probably offered them third on main / second subs and they had a paddy.

If they were offered there main it would be second headliners not subs.

Taylor/Dua/Madonna with Spice Girls at teatime in 2024 to address the apparent imbalance in 2023

I'm going with Dua, Blur and Madonna with Spice Girls as the reunion.

They put on a great show, one of my favourite dance brands tbh. I reckon Defected will make a return too, below is what I put in my prediction further up the thread.

I don't think Bob Sinclair will be on Defected.

Do it, it's tremendous. One problem though. Hï is great but it's massively oversold. Every Sunday is crazy busy now.

It's massively expensive too. The drinks aren't even doubles lol. I went there for Armin Van Buuren. I was there this year over that part, shocked how bad Bora Bora is now. It's purely just a drug selling area. The Ibiza Marina area and Dalt Villa is lovely but apart from Ushiaua area it's a shit hole. The rooftop bar at Hard Rock Hotel is nice.

Glitterbox have been announced as the first stage host for this year!

That's the likes of Bob Sinclair, Basement Jaxx, Amand Van Helden, Carl Craig, Eats Everything, David Morales, Derrick Carter, Dimitri from Paris and Co. Roger Sanchez too. Saw him last year, was ace.

I'm considering doing it in Ibiza this year.

you only do bullshit, nothing has changed with how i'm doing stuff.

Yeah that's your issue, nothing has changed. Even the TBC acts on lineups pages etc etc.

Anyway, until you piped up again with your please don't attack me bollocks everyone was playing nicely.

So use that door and lock it behind you.

People love vegas. And chris brown messes that whole day up pretty much. And is it worth $300 usd? Thags the cost after fees for the lowest priced ticket. This was the schedule last year so you have an idea

The main acts this year are way better. I went through a spell of liking nelly, akon

I swear everyone hates ally pally except the bands playing it. Think it looks great from stage and makes for a good photo but as a punter it's trash

It is. Crowd clusters. To think that most venues just a little bit bigger have got two ways in and out as well. The access is just poor. When I went Sum 41 I thought anywhere but ally pally.

    Here’s my latest prediction:

Metallica / Alter Bridge / Halestorm / Clutch / Testament / Mammoth WVH / Trivium (special guest opening set)

    Pendulum / I Prevail / Electric Callboy

    Hollywood Undead

    Ville Valo

Bring Me The Horizon / Architects / Lamb of God / Beartooth / Motionless In White / Fever 333 / Nova Twins

Evanescence / Within Temptation / Asking Alexandria

    Simple Plan

    Carpenter Brut

Metallica / Five Finger Death Punch / Disturbed / Arch Enemy / Avatar / Skid Row / Municipal Waste

Placebo / Incubus / Three Days Grace

    Neck Deep

    Periphery

Slipknot / Parkway Drive / Gojira / Behemoth / Jinjer / Ice Nine Kills / Vended

Ghost / The Distillers / In Flames

    Alexisonfire

    Danzig

Included that Trivium set as I’m trying to will it into existence more than anything.

It's a good shout but I don't see Within Temptation taking that slot. They will be 3rd main/Zippo headliner lowest

two Brixton replacements: Pvris and Caroline Polachek have done straight swaps to the Eventim Apollo. think it will be a matter of if a sold-out show can be moved to the Apollo on the same day, it will. if the show is not sold out, it might move to a smaller venue (maybe O2 Academy’s)

thinking selfishly, I’ve got tickets for Pendulum and the thought of seeing them at the Apollo just doesn’t have the same ring as seeing them at Brixton. but I’d prefer it to Ally Pally

    Hate Ally Pally
