    Kendrick Lamar

    Couldn't agree more
  2. Yeah she only has 2 solo albums but Punisher is definitely the most complete of the two and the best place to start. Her most recent setlists are very Punisher heavy too with 2 or 3 from her first album and sometimes one from the Boygenius EP she did with Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker (which is also very much worth checking out).

Yep can only echo what everyone else has said - watched it dozens of times and it still amazes me every time.
  4. Wow that is an insane day!
  5. New album out May 6th 🎉🎉🎉 https://pitchfork.com/news/sharon-van-etten-announces-new-album-weve-been-going-about-this-all-wrong/
  6. Yeah it wasn't actually until 10.52 that I finally got through. Just thought I'd refresh the page one more time before giving up and I was lucky. Girl's going places.
  7. Yeah, I did not expect it to be that difficult this morning to get Phoebe tickets. Can't think of many other Park headliners who'd shift 3 nights at Brixton that quickly. Reckon 3rd down Other sounds about right.
  8. Don't necessarily agree with you but your enthusiasm is infectious.
  9. I'm going for 8th March. A thanks to all those who paid their balance. A 'we can't wait to see you all in june. Here's what we've been working on...' poster drop followed by a resale reminder giving people 2 weeks to get their shit together.
  10. To be fair, Melvin has a long record of making claims that don't end up true.
  11. Interesting.... I think it's easy to become a victim of your own success and Laurel Hell was definitely a step down from Puberty 2 and Be the Cowboy. Still an easy 8/10 album though imo
  12. 1. Black Country, New Road 2. Big Thief 3. Sasami Also really enjoyed Nordic Giants, Beach House, Holodrum, Animal Collective and Mitski ...all of them would have made top 3 in most other months.
  13. Yep! Had no idea what to expect the first time I saw them either and opening with Race for the Prize sets the tone for the magic you are about to see so so well.
  14. 1. Grace Cummings - Storm Queen 2. Che Noir - Food for Thought 3. Silverbacks - Archive Material

Had a fantastic evening. Thank you all for making it so brilliant 🙂

I'll be there! I will be a little late as I still have to get home, jabbed, fed and preferably a little tipsy but I am looking forward to it! I'm sure I will get all weird and nervous when I join the call but that's a problem for future PDAD.

Fuck it...I've got a rare night to myself this evening...if I'm not feeling too rough after my second jab later, I might pop my head in...why not, eh?
