  1. I’m in a rush to pay my balance. It’s quite pointless I know. Bring on 9am and the thrill of a See Tickets queue.
  2. Yes, you're exactly right, because I don't know their music well I got bored after 30 mins. And I left before the end. I preferred the support act PVA.
  3. 10/10...and looking for 5 more.
  4. Saw The Wailers last night, OK I know they're not 'The Wailers' anymore, but the songs still have a special place for me.
  5. I'd like to select something less obvious but in all honesty I can't get past Ghost Town. Not just the song, but crucially says so much about the era.
  6. Also an appearance at Cinemargeddon for a showing of Licorice Pizza must be a good bet.
  7. It’s an upgrade replacement for Noel Gallagher.
  8. They can’t really win, it’s not in the best of taste to be making announcements presently.
  9. Expect the unexpected. ...especially on here!
  10. Huge Jass II - Judgement Day It’s nothing personal
  11. You’re right, saw some of it, the Park doesn’t get any better than that.
  12. I agree. Very happy. Huge Lips fan. Fatoumata Diawara is one of my favourites and ace live. Sawhney, Kidjo, Hollie Cook, etc…
  13. I’ve only just seen this and reading his obituary. He co-wrote the first album In The Court of the Crimson King, and Schizoid Man is adapted from music written by him. Worth noting the band’s first gig was in front of 250,000+ at Hyde Park with the Stones. King Crimson one of the truly great, innovative bands in my opinion. Foreigner had a string of good hits too. it’s his sax on T Rex’s Get It On, which I never knew.
  14. The fees alone are more than I’d pay to go to a gig, never mind the actual ticket.
  15. Olives are an essential food for me. I can’t live without them. Definitely in the love ‘em bracket. Black or green, gimme both.
  16. Even today’s newspapers are effectively confirming McCartney at Glastonbury
  17. I’m ok with plenty of post-Beatles songs, it’s a bit more authentic for him to play his own stuff solo/Wings as well as the band he used to be in, it shouldn’t be just a Beatles tribute act. There’s plenty of sub-standard albums he needs to completely ignore nevertheless.
  18. True! There’s a certain formula: Hobo Jones to kick it off Numerous folk rock bands with a fiddle player One really old folk act One pop act that had a few hits 40+ years ago A couple of jokey acts A couple of American country/bluegrass acts Some female singer/songwriters One male act that might have made it big but didn’t err, that’s it!
  19. Yes, looking forward to it. Be happy if The Comet is Coming are re-booked after being due in 2020.
