…and stopping us peeing on the grass! What’s that all about? What do you think the cows do all day? We should be free to pee wherever we want, just like on a Saturday night when we’re out on the town.

There’s far too many stages. All that walking you have to do! There should be just one (maybe two) so we can sit down and relax. And it’d be much better if they flattened the hills and landfilled the valley. Ban the Hill of Death and the horrendous walk up to Worthy View. It’s not an army camp after all.
And let’s face it, all this modern music isn’t nearly as good as it was back in my day! We want a 1972 theme.

Just had an email from Wateraid saying I’ve been unsuccessful…..another one bites the dust 🙈
3 of our gang have gained alternatives so there's 3 back in the pot for you! Keep trying!

My Glastonbury Fairy Godmother. I got my first volunteering spot thanks to you and this site and these threads.
Would've been my fifth time volunteering and two decades without missing a festival.
My own bad that I missed T day this year.
.
Part of what motivates me is to keep my unbroken record - similar to yours - Do you really have to concede now?? It's a shame.

Please consider supporting this important fundraiser. Annie Maw, from Pilton, will be attempting to climb the Tor in her wheelchair on Saturday May 4th. A huge challenge. She is raising funds for two charities, focused on disability and humanity & inclusion (Gaza, amongst others), details below.
Anyone who can make the event is very welcome to come along. It’s organised by FMS and I’m doing the video on their behalf. Further details to follow. Thanks also to @eFestivals for allowing this post.

Yes plan is to have a Monday night Tow and Hitch meet again for whoever from efests is on site on the Monday. I'll post more details closer to the festival and have also set up a WhatsApp group in the past.
That’s good! I’d be up for that!

Vodafone's been pretty good at Glastonbury for the last few years I reckon, certainly much improved on earlier years.

...also makes you realise they're quite lazy with their poster artwork!

If you’re wondering what will be on the acoustic I’d look at the last 2/ 3 years and most will be there. They can be rather loyal to a fair few acts.
Avalon 2019 and 2022. So, Oh My God.. seem to be playing Glastonbury, so quite likely I imagine. Dead South could easily slot into their tour. Also Magic Numbers and a few others.

They’re high on my list. It should be a great show!

I just can’t see Stevie Nicks playing. I hope I’m wrong.

Interesting report. Is the festival required to produce this as part of it’s license? Is this a first, I don’t recall seeing this report before?

So, let’s hope the 2024 map appears soon!

It’s really difficult to see how it would work. There’s not much space in the Avalon field anyway, can’t see how they can create more space than they already have for a queue.
And Avalon is like a little self-contained festival, now potentially messed up.

Thank you! I've entered. Quite fancy the 're-loved' jacket too.

If the cafe stage has gone will that mean there will be fewer small bands? I know people like 3 daft monkeys used to play the cafe stage several times. Presumably to get enough tickets for all of them
Unless there's a replacement elsewhere. I've seen some good stuff in the Avalon Cafe over the years, starting with the Scottish singer Astrid Williamson in 2004. Seen some dubious singers too! (Michael Eavis 😀)
Glasto is sh*t and I'm not paying my balance. Definitely not trying in October.

The obvious solution is to relocate to the midlands, something like a big park, and rename it, I'm sure we can come up with a variety of bazaar names.
