  1. Ally Pally for me, really appreciate the offer though!
  2. Does anybody have a link for the Bombay Bicycle Club presale this morning please?

    Clashes

Tame Impala vs Gojira is a big one for me
  4. While my initial impressions are that I'm quite pleased with the lineup, there are just a few acts that I would've expected this year that aren't on the bill: Khruangbin The Amazons The Twilight Sad Weezer Tool 😉 Is there anyone you were hoping for that won't be at the Farm this year?
  5. In a way I'm glad that that Prince vs Metallica clash never happened. That would've surely been one of the worst in Glasto history?
  6. Gojira have shows booked on the Saturday and Sunday. Any chance they could play the Thursday like Napalm Death did before? If they were to play Friday, would a headline slot on those smaller stages clash with the main stage headliners, or are they staggered?
  7. A conveniently placed Glasto-sized gap so that Lars can attend again this year 😉
  8. I think after their performance at All Points East there might be a bit of a hype around their live show that'll help push some tickets. That it's a one-off arena show might help as well.
  9. With The War on Drugs having announced a headline date at the 02 Arena in December, what do we think of their positioning for next year? Potential JP headliner? Second/third from top on the Other?
  10. It sounds like they had already had a very challenging festival, and one by most accounts they handled remarkably well (especially when compared against events like Y Not etc), but as you say this could be the straw that breaks the camel's back. In all fairness, I'm not really sure how Bestival could've prevented this? If somebody has that inclination, they'll do it, unless they find there were substances involved that specifically contributed to what happened. Still absolutely appalling to hear, RIP to the individual's family and friends. Nobody should go to a festival and not come back.
  11. Was gutted to be missing Wednesday and heading up to the Glasto sign (I could only get a 1pm coach from Reading tomorrow) but having seen the forecast and pictures of everybody stood there sweating their tits off, I actually feel that in a way we've dodged a bullet!

    TBAs

Nigh-on impossible (more wishful thinking, really) but The War on Drugs are making their live comeback on the Stephen Colbert show tonight. Their new album is due in August, but if they're active already and want to fit in a Glastonbury before the fallow year, please get them involved as the Other Stage TBA
  13. Future Islands up against The XX is a weird one... and a nightmare for me!
  14. Is anyone listening to the first A Blaze of Feather EP today? It's bloody glorious. Their first announced show is at Latitude, but if they could be ready for Glasto a few weeks earlier, I'd definitely see them.
  15. Jamiroquai Sundara Karma King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard The Amazons! I think the latter three will be added but Jamiroquai seems unlikely now...
