Have drink prices gone up in the UK since 2019 (last time I was there)? A pint in London was around 5 pounds if I remember correctly.

He's just saying the usual: "we're glad to be here, this is our next song...." stuff If you're learning Spanish from Spain you're gonna have a very difficult time understanding anything from Latin America. It's the same as most languages which are spoken in many places around the world. I learned "proper" English when I was little but then most of what I heard in real life was American English. I still struggle a bit with English from Northern England/Scotland, specially young people obviously. I was in Andalucia last year and sometimes it sounded like a completely different language to me. And they are in Spain 😂

Last time I went (2017) there was an Argentinian food stall next to it with a huge Maradona picture and the most expensive choripanes I've even seen. I wonder if they will be there this time...

I'll be in London for a couple of weeks prior to Glastonbury. Then back to London to catch LCD Soundsystem and then to Spain to visit my parents for a week. Then home.

Sunday night 2013 I saw Phoenix close the JP tent and it was a perfect end to the festival. Short set but they were so great. There was a spontaneous group dance and singalong after the set to New York New York by Frank SInatra.

LCD in 2016 was perfect. I missed the first two songs because we were at Grimes and run all the way to the Other stage just in time for I Can Change. Still up there with the best shows I've been to.

Chic were great, but I was standing somewhere where I couldn't see much and the sound wasn't great. I also realized I didn't care much for Chic while I've always loved Portishead. 😂

Chic instead of Portishead, although fortunately I realized I was making a mistake after 20 minutes and run to see Portishead instead. I caught about 50 minutes. But I should have gone from the start.

Yes, planning is quite tricky. I guess it would be easier if we stayed at Worthy View but we've never done that. We take everything with us and back again home every time. And I got through 2016 on a badly sprained ankle. 5 days of constant slipping/getting stuck on mud wasn't easy. 😅 So I'm confident I could give plenty of advise to people coming from abroad for the first time.
