  1. I consider myself a veteran of going to Glastonbury from overseas. This will be my 5th.
  2. I've camped here twice and it is usually fine. Last time I had to deal with someone who snored like he was about to die every night, which wasn't nice. And had some group of people shouting all night on Sunday night until someone screamed to them and they went quiet. I guess you can always get those people though.
  3. Not the ones going by coach at least.
  4. Got absolutely nowhere but white screen. Luckily the people I was trying for were sorted in the first 2 minutes 😄
  5. Same here. I do use whatsapp though. 😄 If anybody needs help, let me know.

    London Coaches

Where are you coming from? The coaches depart from the O2/Greenwich, which is kind of a pain at 6AM because I think the tube starts at around 5-5.30. https://goo.gl/maps/bWNFQdQfg6x8zQwRA

    London Coaches

I'm on the 6AM Wednesday coach from London as well. I'm having a nightmare trying to see where to stay the night before and where to leave my luggage while at Glastonbury 😞
  8. definitely rained during the night/early morning a few times. And Sunday looked horrible as well.
  9. If you are outside the UK using a credit card, call the bank now and make sure you are approved to make such payment. Many credit cards come back declined even though they are fine. But for some reason you might need to have the payment pre approved by the bank. You don't want to be lucky enough to get through only to have your CC declined.
  10. Yeah, I know and we thought about it but then we would have had to take our luggage to the festival which seems like a nightmare. And then we got LCD Soundsystem tickets for June 29th at Brixton so definitely getting back to London now.
  11. Nice! We used the coaches in 2016 and I don't remember taking much time to load and then leave. I'm pretty sure 6AM is departure time. it did take like 9 hours to get to the festival in 2016 though, but that was because of terrible weather conditions. If you see a couple looking very shy and speaking Spanish, that's us 😄
  12. They should let people switch 😄 I would prefer not going by coach as I would like to spend a few days in Somerset. Now it looks like I will have to go there, get back to London and go again to Glastonbury. Our return coach is at 4AM though 😬
  13. Thanks both! Yeah, i'm definitely not paying 280 a night. Not even close 😂 Google says I could take bus/tube at that time and be there in about half an hour from some places in east or south east london. I've always stayed in the west so I wouldn't mind looking for something there this time. I just don't wanna be too far away from most things we'd go during our stay there. Did you get tickets @Hugh Jass II?
  14. paid the balance and booked tickets since this. fuck it. anybody know of some nice people that would let us use a spare room in london or at least keep our luggage while at the festival? 😅
  15. Hi. So we got coach tickets leaving from London O2 at 6AM on Wednesday. At the moment, I didn't really think about it. It was the one available. I took it. We will be staying at an hotel/airbnb/whatever as we come from the other side of the planet, and I'm not sure if staying close to Greenwich is that much better or not. I understand the tube starts at 5.30ish or something. It seems risky waiting for it. Anybody that has taken a coach this early in the morning at the O2 has any advice on how to plan the logistics of it?
  16. Yes. I don't know specifically what it is but in my case I need to call the Visa first and they have to approve the payment. After they do that I can go to seetickets and pay it. I got declined a couple of times and then after calling Visa it went through. This is not new. I'm pretty sure that back in october 2019 I made sure to call them before ticket day to make sure this didn't happen. So, if you use a credit card always have it approved with the CC people before ticket day.
  17. Paid the balance. Now I need to find the way to get there and not go broke.
  18. Still not paid it yet. I guess the thing that bothers me the most of uncertainty. Too many variables in the air. If for some reason something changes (cancelation, travel policies, vaccines mandates, etc) I could lose a lot of money 😞 A poster would help, if only to get me excited and make me pay it 😄
  19. The National should not be anywhere near the Pyramid again. Closing the Other is perfect.
  20. This is true and I often wonder wtf I am doing.
  21. They really should consider the fact that it's been 2 and half years since we've booked the coach tickets. We should be able to change them.
