  1. I don’t expect so, the hanger is for your vehicle rear view mirror and your entry tickets are e-tickets, downloadable when in your seetickets account - if you want to park up with your friend in live-in, you should arrive together as they usually park people up in order of entry.

Absolutely briliant idea - I'm heading to the retail park this weekend to get the last bits, def going to IKEA to grab one of these. Last year I just soaked my cap in water and that helped for about 0.1 seconds and then I was just wearing a hot wet cap 😞

I take a couple of those roll up /flexible plastic drinks pouches with a sport cap on that you can get in summer for about £1 (sorry don’t know how to post a pic)with a clip on and use the sprayer part off one of these instead of the screw on sports cap - easier to ferry around than a rigid sprayer to fill at water points - works great as a mister

  3. Welcome Iggy.

I’m hoping to attend a meet up, not been to the festival (and a meet up) since 2017 and being ticketless up until this year, I haven’t been on this site much over the last few years.

I remember plucking up the courage to attend my first meet up, mainly to meet people who had helped me secure tickets that year - I met some lovely people, I got insanely wasted, got help getting back to my tent (other half said it was like dragging someone out of the Somme) and had to go for an ‘early bath’ and threw up in my tent.

I hope to pace myself this time and take it steady - but I probably won’t - it is glastonbury after all

  4. To the guy who pulled me out through all of the chair w*nkers and led me to safety at Ed sheeran as I was panicking and couldn’t see a way out (thought I’d either cry or piss myself or both) as I desperately needed the loo and didn’t want to stay for Ed - I was so close yet so far from relief it was unbelievable - thought he was going to pick me up at one point - he saved me that night and I’m eternally grateful.

Do we have a distribution of helpers? I have a ticket and I'll be hopefully supporting resale group 1, for no reason other than it's the one that's been on my radar over the last year.

    Who's helping which groups!?

    I’m helping group 4

Can I ask what happened with payment on ticket day, what evidence did you have and who did you email?

    Thanks man

Kicked out completely after entering OTP
I contacted my bank, they had a ‘booking ref’ associated with the ‘declined’ payment, which was a seetickets system error, not me or the bank had done anything wrong - payment was authorised twice 4 mins apart according to my bank - seetickets didn’t collect due to out of date system security regulations - I only had screenshot of my OTP, but bank was prepared to write a letter confirming everything - i emailed seetickets and glasto fest - seetickets came back with an outright no booking, glasto also forwarded on for them to investigate - total shock when i got the call yesterday aft for them to take a payment - had to recite card details from memory as didn’t have my purse with me

keep on it, took just over a week to get it sorted and most of my time spent was dragging the info I needed out of the bank

    good luck

this came up on my socials ... it might be of great interest if you got through to the payment window ...

Was unsure whether to share this but here goes,

I was bounced out on ticket sales day after inputting payment details more than once. I resigned myself to the cruel fate of many others but my husband checked with Mastercard and the payment was there but not fulfilled due to an inaccuracy in the way Seetickets requested it. We emailed everyone we could think of, long story short Glastonbury festival requested more detail, we provided a payment ref from our card, they forwarded this to Seetickets and yesterday our tickets were confirmed. I know at least one other person who had their groups tickets confirmed in this way too. So, if any of you were using Mastercard (only they had this issue apparently) check to see if they have a log of the payment request and a reference you can quote. There is hope!

I also saw this on socials and chased my bank - I can confirm the above info and my tickets have been sorted today with seetickets (hence why I’m now back on here after many years, being tickletless) after our own payment debacle - get chasing if you think this applies to you too.

  8. Thanks @vintagelaureate I hope your daughter manages to get through this, it’s difficult when loved ones don’t fully understand and thanks @Big durbs, dad is doing ok and my mother hasn’t killed him yet - it’ll be strange and interesting for them when they’re eventually allowed out having only seen distancing and shopping queues on the TV.

Facebook memories are great at this time of year, however I haven’t been to glasto since 2017, I haven’t been that lucky with tickets  in recent years but hoping to secure some for next year at some point.

stay safe everyone and have a great week, weather is going to be good for glasthomebury.

  9. Hiyah all.

hope you’re all doing well and sorry I’ve not been in here much this year but I wanted to wish you all a happy Glastonbury week (even though we didn’t get tickets).

I hope you’ve all managed to stay safe and sane so far through the pandemic.

My dad ended up in hospital on oxygen whilst we were on holiday just before Xmas (which was terrifying enough even without the virus) and with him currently being on the ‘shielded’ list I’ve been busy through the pandemic trying to ensure my parents are ok, fed and kept indoors.

my thoughts are now turning to Glasto and all of us here who didn’t get tickets and those who did but still can’t be there - there’ll be mixed emotions for sure for everyone, so I’m spending the next week catching up in here and doing minor planning for next weekends events.
