surely everyone with a general admission ticket got an email last week about the worthy view / camper passes. But not a reminder today.

you are right I just went in and there are a both size camper van passes for east, tipi's are sold out and the worthy view are saying sold out or unavailable for all kinds at the moment.

i think Neil's conclusion must be right the genuine demand for camper east has been masked by touts in the past ( unless there are significantly more spaces available this year). either way it takes the pressure off for next year ) assuming you get a general ticket first.

could even be hopeful for people trying in the the resales.

good luck in resale Avalon and remember the friend has to be in the van with you on entry into the van fields ( i assume that's how this all works under the new regime )

just out of interest how many local sunday tickets are there and how close do you have to live to the farm to be in with a chance ( not that i am anywhere near Pilton, I am nearer to 'Royston Vasey' than Pilton )

Its a no from me, unless Glasto are trying to make it a festival for the over 50s, in which case he would be ideal

haha Henrik that has made me chortle I have quite a few pounds to lose to get festival fit myself but not quite in that league.

It really is about time they announced this as it has been a Monday lunchtime in previous years. Some people might have to make arrangements to ensure they are available and have reliable access to the internet at that time.

 

As Eks101 says above it's likely to be the last Monday in October if it follows last year's Worthy View sale.

[A few questions from a Glasto first timer]

officially van fields opened at 12 noon on Tuesday last year but in fact to alleviate the traffic situation they let vans in earlier.

 

most people are busy setting up their space with awnings and stuff on Tuesday and saying hello to neighbours. Quite a lot of van folk turn up in groups and weather permitting there are bbq's etc going on outside folk's setups. fires are not allowed on the ground but bbq's are.
