This might be ignoring all the clues etc. But Chvrches are launching their new single tonight on Annie mac. Back with an album maybe just big enough to step us as a headliner and could explain the wait. Also female fronted which is surely a big bonus for festivals now.

Biffys Belhouston gig was moved to Glasgow Green on a Thursday (9th September) yesterday. I've no doubt they will use the same stage and this will be moved to the 10th,11th and 12th in the announcement
