  1. He very much is, and getting good reviews too. Though I expect he'd like to lean heavily on the new material rather than the hits which would send the camping chairs to sleep. Honestly wouldn't know where else to put him though. Doesn't seem quite big enough to headline but maybe too big for any other slot?
  2. 100x better than the bog standard artwork which is another truly horrid sleeve from the Stones.
  3. Just when i thought I was out.... they pull me back in! OP, There's pages of this stuff on these boards, I don't think any other subject has been analysed as much. Short answer is no, they're not big enough.
  4. I wouldn't be so certain. While there's a good chance that holding card details (including cvs code) can work - these days you might get hit with 2-factor authorisation (usually via a banking app). Not saying this will happen, but it could.
  5. But what price would be within the reach of 'a lot of people'? Whatever you charge, some people are going to be priced out, and that's nothing new this year. The festival is a luxury, not a necessity and thus commands a market price.
  6. I have to agree. I did the coach this year and the journey itself from Bath was fine, the cost within reason. But the timing of it was not ideal. We had to leave at 6:30 am on Wednesday and the return leg was 5:30 on Monday morning. So although I also agree in principle, I won't be doing it again. I'll take my chances with National Express... not a sentence I utter lightly.
  7. Price is per van, not person, so your price is only right if you have the van to yourself. It compares very well to any glamping options. It will still sell out, so will have no impact on the amount of people in tents.
  8. So very glad they are asking for the deposit upfront.
  9. New U2 single out today. I'd post a link but it's f**king shite. Once upon a time I would have been enthused about new material from U2. The 90s was a long time ago.

    Pink Floyd?

To be fair, he f**king does, even if he says he doesn't. Saying that Russia was provoked into invading. Speaking at the UN at the invitation of Russia. Claiming that the Ukraine govt are Nazis and that Ukraine is 'not really a country' are all out of the Putin play book.

    Pink Floyd?

Not surprised. He has become so problematic over the last few years. I have no issue with criticism of the Israeli government and their policy towards Palestine, but drawing the Star of David on the side of a pig that you float round your concerts goes hard into undiluted anti-semitism. His unabashed pro-Kremlin stance is also sickening. I love much of Pink Floyd's music, but man's a count.
  12. Laurence Fox is what happens when those two dweebs from Weird Science do not put pictures of hot models into their computer, but instead hook it up directly to 4Chan.
  13. Fun Fact: Suella Braverman was named after a character from the TV soap Dallas. I know that sounds made up, but it's real and I find it hilarious. She is pure evil though.
  14. I didn't know that. f**k him. Invitation rescinded.
  15. New album out. Touring the US this autumn. Has anyone mentioned Alice Cooper yet? Easily has an hour of crowd-pleasers, and certainly known for putting on a show. Ticks the 'camp' box, but still legit great music as well. Imagine him followed by Aerosmith... https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/alice-cooper/2023/fiddlers-green-amphitheatre-greenwood-village-co-23a20c1b.html
  16. They weren't even the worst band to headline in '23...
  17. History remembers it differently...
  18. Very precise numbers there. Also very wrong….
  19. "Post Malone performs a special set of country covers" Are you threatening me?
  20. I'll see your Las Ketchup and raise you Los Del Rio....
  21. I agree wholeheartedly. But remember a year or so ago, there were a lot of people on these boards saying Elton was defo a 'Legend' and not in contention for headliner status... 2022 was such an innocent time. tbh Billy is one of those acts of his vintage I have still yet to see and would love to have at the farm.
  22. Was performing live right up until lockdown 3 years ago, so no real reason she couldn't resume. Amongst all the wild suggestions we've had in this thread, this is spot on. https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/cher/2020/centurylink-center-bossier-city-la-1399d561.html I wonder how her voice is, though to be fair, not really relevant where 'believe' is concerned.
  23. He always said that it was the end of touring, not performing. The temptation of free water slides obviously too much to resist.
