  1. Kacey should be a good set. Hoping she plays a fair few from her first two records, as they were more country. Though Golden Hour was great too, just a different sound. Haven’t listened to the latest one really; need to get on it.
  2. Thundercat was definitely in the lineup in 2020. Playing West Holts if I remember correctly. Is he not confirmed for this year?
  3. Isn’t the story that RHCP dropped out very, very late on in the mid 90s when they were booked as headliners, meaning Kravitz was bumped up to headliner. Pretty sure the excuse was that Flea was burnt out, but the rumour was that Kiedis had relapsed. They basically dropped Glastonbury in it at the last minute and I don’t think the festival has any appetite to reach out to a band that did that. Pretty sure Eavis himself said they’re not welcome back. So, unless they offer to play for free I don’t think it’s ever happening.

    2022 Headliners

Killers headlined Saturday last time though Stormzy was Friday.

    2022 Headliners

So, just to check, the very likely headliners are: Friday - Billie Saturday - Kendrick Sunday - Macca Though, chance that Paul and Kendrick may be the other way around.

    2022 Headliners

Just saw she's playing Primavera, so hopefully she'll be back for Glastonbury.

    2022 Headliners

Ah yeah I do recall The Specials being confirmed. Kacey Musgraves was an unknown day I think, so could have been a Sunday Pyramid slot.

    2022 Headliners

Wasn't there a rumour that the Pyramid would have an all female line up on the Sunday, culminating with Taylor? I'm sure that was being batted around in the lad up to the 2020 festival. Diana Ross, Haim, Lana Del Rey, were all rumoured to be performing on the Sunday.

    2022 Headliners

So, avoiding having to read through the many posts/being lazy, is the general consensus that all 3 2020 headliners are likely to be at 2022? I've seen Elton mentioned because he's touring and has Glasto weekend free, but are there any strong rumours that one of the original 3 for 2020 won't appear?
  11. I checked it out a few times but I really don't like the vibes in that area. It feels so disjointed from the rest of the site. When you have the SE Corner and Arcadia/Pangea you can avoid Silver Hayes and still see amazing dance music. That being said, there's still sound bleed between some the stages in the area, and then at others the sound isn't loud enough. It's bizarre. If you want to see Orbital I'd just recommend getting there with plenty of time to spare so that you can get inside to a decent spot.
  12. Oh no, I don't think it's likely. I wrote that as a worst case scenario type of thing.
  13. True. But at least that's likely to be rearranged for another date. Glasto 2020 would just be called off altogether.
  14. Yeah, good point. Really looking forward to the second year of Pangea. It has a lot of potential, and I'm sure there's going to be some sick new stuff. I loved Arcadia but it was a victim of it's own success, so if you couldn't get close there was a lack of atmosphere. Question is, do I get tickets for Deadmau5 at Brixton just in case Glasto doesn't happen?
  15. You think it'll be as Deadmau5 or as Testpilot? I saw yesterday that Testpilot is on the Shambala poster.
  16. So Pearl Jam have cancelled their entire North American tour. We've all been talking about Glasto happening based on decisions and advice from the Government, but what happens if artists actually pull out?
  17. Lukas Nelson & The Promise of the Real have announced UK dates in June. Saw them at Glasto and might grab a ticket if it's a decent price. There's also a Glasto gap - either Saturday or Sunday. Fri, JUN 19 - SWX, Bristol Sat, JUN 20 - Academy 2, Manchester Sun, JUN 21 - Eridge Park, Tunbridge Wells Mon, JUN 22 - O2 Forum Kentish Town, London Wed, JUN 24 - City Halls & Old Fruitmarket, Glasgow Thu, JUN 25 - Limelight, Belfast Fri, JUN 26 - The Academy, Middle Abbey Street, Dublin Tickets on sale Friday 6th March

    Other Stage 2020

Is Lana definitely on the Pyramid? I could see her subbing Pyramid or headlining Other.
  19. Licensing issues have always made this impossible and I presume we'd have already heard if the council had granted the festival a license for music on the main stages on Thursday.
  20. Even if it's not Coldplay I do think there's going to be something big to kick off the 50th on the Pyramid.
  21. The Killers secret set was well know about on here. I told my group about it and we thought about it, but they closed off JP area ages before they started and we didn't want to miss something else. On another note, I work with a guy who is still adamant that Arcade Fire played the Park last year. The programme lists all the TBA sets I think - so you know where and when, jut not who. But this forum will usually know.
  22. Not a ridiculous shout, but since Fru's reveal they've actively stopped booking gigs this summer. I imagine they're only doing the ones they're already confirmed for because they have to, and the minute they can go back to LA and write/record a new album they will. I'd say more likely as a 2021 headliner.
