Glastonbury actually going and getting Snail Mail, Soccer Mommy, Mitski, St. Vincent, Phoebe Bridgers, Lorde and Clairo in the same year is pretty wild. I feel like they’re gonna put them all on at the same time just to ruin some peoples’ lives.

I’m convinced by this logic. I don’t expect it, but a ‘special guest’ slot announced close to the festival or on the day is low-risk compared to a headline set whichever year. He’d be divisive as fuck as a headliner months in advance but just another name to miss for someone else when the schedule is set. You could actually use that to justify Harry Styles playing the Pyramid on Friday, seeing as Elbow seem like they could've been swapped over from Friday into that vacated slot. Obviously Harry Styles isn't playing though and it's likely that's why Doja Cat popped up despite exclusivity, but I'm saying you could if you wanted to.
