  1. This is a real ball ache. Was all set for Sunday, knew would have no interruptions. On my own trusty computer. Now I will be at Shiiine On trying to get on my phone with Butlins' crappy wifi or even worse data coverage...

This is the one set that I wished I had seen. Was watching other ones as have seen them a lot. They are very good live, shows have got better as their confidence has risen but have always been special. First saw them at Latitude in 2013, were on the Alcove Stage, only about 10 people there but put on the full show and knew they were destined for a lot more.
  5. For me too Glastonbury is a massive boost to my mental health. Despite this and me telling people constantly, given issues I have had over last year and fact i was going solo this year everyone I knew kept asking if I would be alright and was I sure it was the right thing to do!
  6. Had some excellent food as usual. Roaming Rotisserie - always excellent and hits the spot Salt and pepper chicken with cats curry and sticky rice near the Park - discovery of the weekend Samosa's from Other Stage, very good. Salt and Pepper Calamari at Other Stage. Only had one bad meal, Wednesday lunchtime, had arrived, sat out the rain in my car, got in, tent up and was starving, a place at Bushey, sausages in a muffin. Sausages were terrible cheap ones and the muffin was very dry.
  7. 1. War on Drugs 2. Yusuf 3. Slowdive Sunday was pretty special for me! I did see Elton and enjoyed it but never owned any of his albums, was very happy he started with Pinball Wizard. Special mention to the Showhawk Duo at The Bandstand on Thursday afternoon, a real Glastonbury moment.
  8. Without knowing it I have been struggling with MH for a number of years. Came to a very bad head last year. Although I didn't go to Glastonbury i did go to End of the Road 2 months after leaving hospital. I love my festivals and found it a really amazing experience being somewhere like that even though I went by myself. I was 'home'. Looking back over the years I was depressed for a long time but I know my times at Glastonbury have always felt special. At EotR I made sure I knew where the Samaritans tent was. It will be worth doing the same. What it actually made me do was slow down and just enjoy the experience, if things were going to fast step away, slow down and just take the time to enjoy it. I am really looking forward to Glastonbury this year. The best thing I have learnt this year is it really is good to talk, either to people around you or go to one of the spaces available and talk.
  9. This has been posted before and not sure who compiled it, so if it's you sorry for not crediting you. Has all facilities on it. https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?mid=1Fb6abza1fXbASPYUzBSvJ8u4wXxqGVKH&ll=51.15191049999998%2C-2.585863200000007&z=15
  10. I come from Sussex and park on the West side. use the A303 and at the Yeovil Travelodge roundabout take the A372 then the B3151 to Street. The into Glastonbury and A361. So you need to go further down the A303, think otherwise you may be filtered into East carparks
  11. Where are you travelling from? If coming from the east you may need to do a loop so you are on the west side.
  12. The fact I am still here and have amazing things like Glastonbury to look forward to. A year ago today I was on a precipice. It could have gone either way. I had been ill for a long time without knowing it. I made a decision to stay, stepped back from the precipice and promised myself to get all the help that was offered and any that I could find. The first month after was incredibly hard and at times I questioned the decision I had made. With a lot of help I made a plan and have looked at everything and re-evaluated my outlook and priorities. It has been hard work and there is still a lot to do. I have realised how lucky I am with amazing friends and family. I’m very happy with where I am and where I’m going. I realised I have amazing friends and family. Life’s not a rehearsal, look after yourselves and think positive. Peace and love, peace and love xx
  13. 2008. We were going to drive home on the Sunday after the last headliner as due to fly out to Greece on the Monday to get married. Saturday evening I realised I hadn't touched the whisky flask I had brought. Wouldn't be able to touch it on Sunday if driving home so decided to drink it all in the evening, got way too drunk and missed Jay-Z...
  14. Went camping for a few days. Tickets were delivered yesterday when I wasn't in, nor was anyone else. Lucky I have a good relationship with my post so this was on the RM app
  15. Baggy Mondays (if I can get within a mile of it!) Liela Moss Showhawk Duo Weekender Doc at Pilton Palais
  16. The issue if if you bought the coach and ticket package. They give the tickets out on the coach to stop people getting tickets via this way and not using the coach, its about going green. National Express are not part of that. Just need the NE ticket for them then the festival ticket once there.
  17. Had my dispatch email today but off camping tomorrow until Sunday!

Could the FF references being due to Rick Astley and DG special guesting with him for the Smells Like../Nerver going to mashup? Not sure if this has already been mentioned.
