  2. I think Paramore are more likely for R&L, over here in April then back at the end of the summer makes more sense.
  3. She could do something like Wembley and the millennium in late August/September I guess
  4. Imagine they will be jaunting round Europe in that big gap
  5. Paramore tickets flew out it seems, wish they’d play next year but don’t see it
  6. Finsbury in July apparently
  7. Bon Iver subbing would be a bad time for all involved
  8. Adele did similar as well didn’t she? Some vinyl releases were delayed for ages because she had all the presses booked up. It sucks.
  9. Looks like the sort of thing they’d have stinking out mid-day pyramid
  10. Album isn't massively clicking with me at the moment, I really like her more poppy stuff as well as Folklore etc but this kinda falls in that middle ground like Lover did for me where I don't really gel with it. Maybe it's the washed out vocals Jack Antonoff thing I'm not sure.
  11. I can't believe her appearance in Venom: Let There Be Carnage didn't land her a smash hit.
  12. Really enjoyed it, Big Ideas particularly. Although not sure I've that much desire to hear a lot of it live.
  13. Except the Southerner one
  14. I find Matt Healy insufferable and I'm disappointed to say I really enjoyed the album.
  15. They’d be a weird fit for APE but I guess it could happen
  16. First time I saw Slowthai he did a small venue tour for 99p, when he moved to academy venues it was a fiver.
  17. Looks like I’ll be looking for a resale nearer the time next year, annoying the sale is such a mad rush now.
  18. Motion Bristol have been putting lots up the last couple of weeks about this, they owe them quite a bit of money.

    Maceo's

Still not managed to get into NYCDL, need to make more of an effort for it as the music is spot on for me.
  20. I don’t think anyone really takes umbrage with people not liking it, it’s just weird to start psychoanalysing Alex and the rest of the band over it.
  21. Yeah I guess, that’s kinda been their schtick on and off for a while now though. TBH&C was probably the most fun I’ve seen them having live.
  22. You enjoy moaning about people wanting tired old indie bands at Glasto, yet are now moaning that one of the biggest indie bands in the country is choosing to move away from that exact sound. Whether you like it or not is fine, you don’t have to. But to suggest the band themselves don’t want to be doing it anymore is just odd and you projecting. Helders has done solo projects which are much more relaxed than old Arctics, Tyler Parkford is pretty involved these days too and his music isn’t hard rock either. I’ve no idea why you think Alex is on a one man mission to change the bands sound.

    Nick Cave

Unfortunately I think there'd just be a rather large list of acts they'd call on first. Other headline or sub seem the most likely options.
  24. It was a pretty significant shot in the arm for them so it's not surprise they lean on it heavily during live sets. People like to dunk on AM but I think it's a pretty great record and there's some bangers on it.
