I've got no idea where pitches with those facilities would be. Pretty much all the public pitches are at the top of the hill, however the hill isn't that long, maybe a 100m or so.

It's a great view during the day but also an amazing experience at night with the added beautiful noise.

Saw gnr at Reading a few years back, the one that he got kicked off stage at the end. Saw Elton at the Hop Farm about 10 years ago, strangely small gathering, about 2000 punters I'd say. He put an amazing show on then vanished into the horizon on his helicopter.

I used to deliver and install Turbosound systems back in the 90s rave days. From experience low end base can also make your hair stand on end your teeth chatter and turn your eyes into wobbly jelly!

Very well done to you. I did 8 months last year and must say I quite got into it. Back on it now but not half as much as I used to. More for pleasure now rather than habit.

I'll be listening this evening, looking forward to it. As for future cast subjects, how about finding some oldie locals that have been local since the early years. Maybe the general opinions have changes somewhat for the better nowadays, or maybe not.

Out of interest, were they loud? When I saw them at the Glade a few years back (on a Saturday afternoon I think) they were amazingly loud, quite possibly up there with some of my Motorhead experiences.
