  1. I have a mate at record label who has said he maybe able to sort me out (paying obviously). I'll investigate but if it we consider it too pricey, Beautiful Days it is.
  2. Well I had no need to worry about oversleeping this morning, I have been awake for hours. Reg numbers and postcodes at the ready!

Absolutely superb at the 02. That would be a showstopper on the Pyramid.
  4. Gaga and Madge for me by a country mile, then Green Day by a smaller distance.

Hello! Gaga would be bloody brilliant!
  6. Just the one listen so far and my initial thoughts are that the main album has been given a refresh. The music has been given a boost and the vocals sound great. 1989 really is a fantastic album, hopefully my vinyl turn up today As for the vault, not massively blown away yet, I suspect they will be growers. After the absolute banger fest of the Speak Now vault the 1989 vault is a tad more more subtle.
  7. Boygenius & Muna on the Friday, Madge and Judas Priest on the Saturday. Thank you very much, what else does anyone need. I'm in!

Not really, we got enough full versions to keep the party the going. Not sure Madge has a Swifty-sized three hour set in her so some compromise was inevitable. It really was a terrific show and I went on the night when she had some technical issues.
  9. Having missed out last year I am feeling a lot calmer about the upcoming sale. If I have a ticket I'll basically build my whole year around the festival and going cold turkey since missing out in the resale earlier this year was very hard indeed. That said I got through it, used Download to fill the GSH in my summer which was a fun experience. Next year I have at least three Taylor Swift shows to soften the blow. Normally I'll be all in on the coach sale, but to be honest my mates all want to do the general sale on the Sunday so I shall stick with them and join the November 5th bunfight, I'm really looking forward to it.
  10. Stevie Nicks would be great. I saw Stevie support Tom Petty at Hyde Park and she would have no problem putting together a classic hour of Mac and solo hits which some people maybe surprised they know. This will be the closest the Eavii get to having Mac on the farm after the sad passing of Christine McVie.

I'm hopeful for Madonna, Glastonbury is running out of living legends that could still play potent headline sets. After a run of Macca and Reg, Madonna would be an awesome show closer. Also having seen Madge on this tour, she would absolutely slay it.

Just Madge. Bob the drag queen does a bit of intro though. The category is......Madonna
  13. I'd be all over this there aren't even any clashes on it for me. An outstanding selection!

I went to the Madonna opening night. Madge was great. Bouncing back from a very serious illness I'm not sure she could have done much more. Madonna looked great and more importantly sounded great, singing the songs comfortably within in range and not overextending herself. It was a shame about the lack of live band, I thought it took some punch out of the sound. Madge was a bucket list artist for me, one of the few I had not yet seen, I did not leave the room disappointed at all. Put that show on the Pyramid and people will go flipping nuts! Not to mention a whole week's worth of cosplay opportunities. #TeamMadge
  15. Not me but I do have Swift 13 on two of my Brighton & Hove Albion shirts! 🙂
  16. Dropped into my library on the way back from the Siouxsie gig. It‘s a banger, some pretty hard hitting stuff on there too. The difficult second album is a good one.
  17. Boygenius utterly sublime yesterday at Gunnersbury Park, for anyone going to Halifax you are in for a treat. Sadly engineering works meant I had to duck out before the encore but the day was so good with an amazing performance from Muna and an engrossing Ethel Cain set making it a fantastic day. Would love to see any of these on the farm next year.
  18. It's a banger. The attitude just wins you over. A shocking first single from Rep that unapologetically set Taylor's stall out. Love it!
  19. Just seen front standing available for £199 for Wembley June 23 on Ticketmaster. Too early for me to commit more cash at this point but I'll keep an eye out later for any more tickets that get listed when I am a bit more flush.
  20. After my complete and utter failure this year, what will be will be. I was stunned at the resale which was utterly brutal. I expect this year to be no different.
  21. For some reason the Guardian just hates Taylor, it's ridiculous. Don't even get me started on the utter bilge that was their Speak Now TV review.
  22. With the addition of Sticklinch to WV I think that is enough. I've camped in both and enjoyed the convenience on the first and last days of the festival, but you cannot beat camping inside the fence.
  23. Absolutely! What a version, I've contributed significantly to the viewing figures of that video. It's why I wanted to get Paris tickets for next year, thankfully I did!
