Hey, I agree it's a different situation network wise this time but I am finding it interesting how this worked. 2013 was a bad load balanced server, planned for use but busted at the time I think. This time an "unplanned to be used for the sale" server was used to purchase glasto tickets, how though unless every web/app server has the same application set deployed at see tickets? Even then I would have thought the dns override via hosts to force to a server that just happens to have the glasto code installed would have caused issues with certificates and host names somewhere within the application/services somewhere? Missed out twice in a row now and always good to understand more about the tech side for potential future tickets. I don't have hundreds of mates to help and not joined any groups.

Showed a chap just browsing back to the main landing page and getting straight back in to buy more tickets after a previous successful transaction. This can be prevented to even the odds I think.

Yeah seen that. Bigtime helps the large groups. 1 in, all in. Maybe they could at least limit 1 transaction per ip to even the odds?

I think being part of a massive group and increasing your odd's seems like the only way forwards. Reading that the same person/people managed to get in multiple times seems to point towards some kind of sticky session coming into play which does smell a tad unfair to me if true. Not trying the resell as we have 6 in my family and leaving 2 behind is just not an option. Last couple of sales for me have been different in some much as I didn't clear the holding page. Normally I at least manage to get the first form before the fun starts. Oh well, here's hoping for some better luck in 12 months I guess and well done to those that managed to bag the golden tickets. 🙂

Same here - I think this is because registration is disabled currently. All a bit of a sh*t show really.

Thank you - that is 100% what I am seeing too. I have been checking every other day to make sure my regs are still good, last couple of days those click through to edit links stopped resolving, I assumed because registrations were closed.

Yeah I spotted that too. Not for me, the reg check form posts back here : https://glastonbury.seetickets.com/content/extras I do get the email with my list of confirmed regs, just can't click the link for each to edit, nor do a manual edit via the form (post code/reg number) How strange.

Mine were fine, been checking every few days. Today, if get the email with all the reg's linked to that address, the click through links don't work though, nor does the reg check here : https://glastonbury.seetickets.com/registration/lookup Have they disabled reg lookup?

Cracking show at Brighton last night. Great sound, great band live I agree. Only complaint was the 10.25 finish and the bars closed well early.

Only discovered Ren recently and I am now a fan, would defo catch him where ever he played in the future.

Been following the England games and we have been average at best with some highlights I guess. Enjoyed the games Sunday but the difference between Eng and France/springboks was obviously clear to see. Eng do have a habit of grinding out results in the world cup though but can't see how next weekend is not the end of the line.
