  1. I thought the Glastonbury On Sea area was really good. Id heard a few 'meh' comments about it from before but I liked it. A lot of effort in it and a cool place to check out, I thought.
  2. He gave us a little taste of Rockit at one point tbf. It was so chilled until towards the end when the area was invaded by Di Ross pitch hunters. Glad I got to see him.
  3. Stayed after the Libs to watch Kae . Superb, such positivity and so genuinely pleased to be up there performing. Inspiring stuff.
  4. The Crackling Nuts stall in Williams Green was good, nice ice cream pots. Meal wise, ended up just choosing the shortest queues when we needed to eat. Only afterwards you reflect and think how chill you were about handing over thirty quid for two burgers and fries ... Plenty of decent coffee this year too.
  5. Sort of funny ... Sunday morning heading to the Pyramid. Two folk looking at the app/schedule, one says 'Apparently its Herbie Hancock, whoever that is?'
  6. We'd kind of decided before this year that it would be the last. My wife is now convinced shes not going back, but I'm not ready. Its hard, expensive and a pita but, I still LOVE it. See how things are in October ...
  7. Not sure if crowds overall seemed much worse than previous or that people have forgotten what its like to be amongst so many people? The festival needs to have a word with itself though. As much as I appreciate the work of Secret Glasto, it means the secret sets are common knowledge and are overly busy. Putting anyone who is established on in Williams Green on Thursday is now just irresponsible, and the festival needs to be more dynamic in switching acts around if they have 'blown up'. Wetleg far too big to be in the park - I got in but was so far back I couldn't see and couldn't really hear, and that becomes worse as people around you become bored and start chatting and talking on phones. Glad I binned it off and caught the end of Blossoms with Mel C. Only queuing sadness I had was the Sunday night bus back to B&W showground which was shared with the campervanners and individuals being picked up and dropped off, turning the wait from under five minutes (as its had been all weekend) to about an hour. Bummer.
  8. Had some Jack White FOMO hearing Seven Nation Army blasting out from afar, but after the waste of time trying to see Wetleg in the Park, I remained at the Pyramid for a chilled Elbow set. Not a massive regret tbf, but a bit ...
  9. Saw Tom Watson between Herbie Hancock and Di Ross. (Sets, not the people).
  10. Yeah, you were banned from taking in anything other than a small bottle of water too, on a blazing hot evening. I mean, the crowd there generally looked like it wasn't an issue for them - but it was still crazy.
  11. I went to a Nocturne Live event last night at Blenheim Palace (don’t judge me). £6 for a 330ml can of Brewdog beer or Cider equivant. Fair dos to the ladies I saw juggling about 8 cans each to their seats. Close to £100 on cans.
  12. The MacDonalds that’s nearby. Last globalist horrible consumerism before a few days escape.
  13. Is Johnny Marr not likely? Seems possible he'd come on with Billie Eilish and maybe the PSB's? Im suprised hes not on the poster.
  14. We went back to the car and had a kip. Woke up about 01.30 and drove straight out. Home about 04.00. Ridiculous state of affairs but it worked out ok.
  15. I went yesterday. Last minute tix for £30. Traffic was awful. Paulo wasn’t great for me. Kasabian we’re good and must be great for them after the last couple of years. Liam was on top form. Great set list and quality closing out with John Squire on Champagne Supernova. Little Barrie in for Bonehead too. Sunny mega gig. Ace.
  16. Di Ross vs PP Arnold
  17. The font on birth certificates is basic MS word stuff, and you’re only going to take a copy to Glastonbury aren’t you? Truth is, if the child looks about right then no one’s saying a word. Who’s going to make a child go home alone? No one is who 🙂
  18. Got mine yesterday. 2 x adult and campervan. It made me go and fit the engine in my campervan as I guess .... ITS HAPPENING! 😄
  19. No. I saw them in the old days and then saw them on the reunion , it was my last pre Covid gig in March 2020. They are excellent live and have an awesome catalogue of songs.
  20. 0898 was the first tour I saw them on. I guess Im older than you 😄
  21. Paul and Jaqui played the Acoustic Stage a few years ago. We went about half way through the set (skipping stages to cram stuff in) and got to a decent position easily enough. Id love to see them, but have seen the Beautiful South and P&J various times over the years, so they might get skipped. Shame.
  22. I see Ed Sheeran has pulled one of his Sunderland dates due to 'scheduling' issues and fans with tickets have been offered the chance to go on the other nights. So hes not enough selling tickets, right?
  23. I've spent hours and hours pretty much next to it/under it and it can squeak like mad! Drives you crazy 😄
  24. You probably have this much, but anyway … https://www.instagram.com/p/4UGiuXlRdf/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=
