  1. I saw Steve Cradock sharing this on his socials so I think it’s the full band. He doesn’t really do acoustic. I reckon it’ll be close to a regular set.

At work, I keep getting an efests ad blocker request. I'm unable to do this on the system, so it keeps reappearing, eventually, I'll get a 'continue without disabling' option, but its sucking the life out it for me.
  3. Yes! I paid more more a resold ticket , but yeah, worth it.
  4. Reminds me of the time I travelled three hours each way to watch The Strokes do a 40 minute gig 🙂
  5. Yeah, fair. Principle remains though.
  6. I went to Wolves last night. Yes, the album plus the JJF cover. Really enjoyed it, place was rammed, plenty of atmosphere and it went down well. Jake Bugg as support which would be a £40(?) gig on its own these days? People seem a bit obsessed by it re. the cost (£75 not £90) . *shrugs* All smacks a bit of “stop enjoying what you like”. Gigs by big names are expensive. That’s it.

    Dexys?

Last album gave me the ick I’m afraid.

    Dexys?

    Also playing Wychwood pre G.
  9. If I'd got a ticket, Id be picking the bones of the stuff I'd be seeing, look forward to some exploring and make it a good weekend. But there are zero big hitters there for me, those that I'd see I have seen various times before. As a non ticket holder, I'll not be bothering with the resale. On reflection, thats good for the festival, turn over the attendees a bit, get some younger and fresher blood in there.
  10. I got to go a few years back. I don’t feel it would have much community behind it or that people would be over concerned with who was playing. (It was Nile Rogers and Bastille when I went). Wild swimming is a big thing there. You can spend a lot of money on spa treatments etc. Pre booked sit down meals and literary/political discussions were also popular. I've not gone back.
  11. Is this the first time the ‘legend’ will have been subjectively not a legend?
  12. They dropped to third down last time (2022) so yeah. They suited the Park Slot too, I reckon.
  13. It is pricey, but you’ve got two guys who can fill stadiums (with their bands of course) who are giving fans the chance to see together in pretty small venues. Seems par for the course to me.
  14. They played it last night but ended on Personal Jesus. They’d slay the big one.
  15. Saw Depeche Mode in Glasgow tonight. First time since 1986. Superb. They are a top top Pyramid headliner that needs to happen. Insane it’s not been sorted thus far.
  16. I paid 148.50 for a pair, so I reckon there was a London tax 🙂

I reckon Blur, as things stand now, are more likely than Stevie W.

    BLUR? Just Maybe?

Would seem sensible to grab Blur while they are available, together and on form. I think Coldplay will be a 'safe' bet for plenty more years to come.

The friends we were with Noel for did exactly that and went off to watch some dance thing as far as I remember? We saw NG and then went for loo/food/drinks and then watched the Mac. It was busy but quite manageable.
  20. I had a look in to see what the prices for RAH TCT gigs were, although I'd 99% decided against going and yeah, the prices for the tickets confirmed my decision. Its hard to moan as its such a worthy cause , but it really is pretty steep. I cant' attend for much less than another £100 in travel costs too. Much much more if I wanted a drink or two.
  21. It was Courteeners, I 'think' all gigs are priced the same, but options within the venue will vary massively. That was for upper tier seats and I think they were priced slightly cheaper than standing. Not sure though. Anyway, expect the cheapest options to be about £50-60 each. Not too bad for a memorable night and if travel is no problem.
  22. Just looked back, and I paid £95.00 for two tickets last year, which would have been the cheapest available. Better seats get expensive there. That was via G&T. I'd imagine that £95.00 would be £105.00 this year? Good luck with tickets, they go very fast for the days in demand. I'd like to go again but for me, getting there pretty much doubles the cost at a minimum so I'm passing this year.
