  1. Four Tet sometimes releases random songs under similar like names, I figured it might be him.
  2. I enjoyed their set at the time but now really wish I'd seen Portishead instead, Third has grown to be one of my favourite albums.
  3. Would be an interesting headliner I think.
  4. I put a fiver on it, seemed decent value.
  5. The Weeknd odds have now dropped from 25/1 to 14/1.
  6. How the hell did they manage that?
  7. I think it's less people betting on it more just whoever does the odds reducing them as soon as an act is discussed on here as a potential headliner.

If they opened the other stage on the Friday they could get to Dublin before tea time.
  9. I'm still confused, were they rumoured to play in 2022 but didn't?
  10. Sorry was trying to make a joke about having info in order to get their odds lengthened but guess I fluffed it. I assumed they're near enough nailed on at this point.
  11. Artists don't speak out because they're getting a cut, I don't know who Taylor Swifts management is but I guarantee they're connected to Live Nation.
  12. I've heard there's absolutely no chance of the Arctic Monkeys headlining, from a 100% legit source.
  13. I guess I just mean Kendrick feels at his peak right now while Eminem would be a step back to the past. Maybe I just prefer him, as much as I like a few of his songs I've always found his rap style a bit monotonous after a while.
  14. Eminem should've headlined 20 years ago but there was still a bit of a weird stigma against hip-hop then I think. Him headlining now would feel like a bit of a step back from Kendrick last year but it would definitely be popular.
  15. Doing a guest spot then jumping on twitter looking for mentions of yourself is pretty egotistical.
  16. I thought Mogwai charging £55 for the barrowlands was pretty excessive. Funny how after the initial complaints the Glastonbury ticket price seems pretty great value now.
  17. It's near certain he will I'd say, it would be pretty silly if he didn't given his tour dates.
  18. Most big pop acts these days (Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga) have wealthy parents who invested heavily into their career early on, they still need some talent to succeed although there are probably dozens of unknown more talented artists out there who never had the same advantage.
  19. Weirdly I'm thinking it could be Dr Dre or even maybe Eminem.
  20. True although I can't listen to Seventeen Going Under without hearing Red Eyes, it's the same tempo and everything. Even his song titles sound quite War on Drugs to me.
  21. I like Sam Fender but he's basically copied and pasted their sound and he's massive now.
  22. Yes they're too big for John Peel I think.
  23. I used Revolut as I was worried about my bank approval notification and it worked fine. Although I had to press the confirm payment button a few times after it froze and then it crashed, it still took the payment but I was probably very close to being kicked out.
  24. Young Father's would be great, one of the best live acts on the planet.
  25. They'll never give it to Ticketmaster as their affiliation with Live Nation essentially makes them a competitor useless the festival goes into business with them which means changing their ethos and allowing stuff like corporate sponsorship.
