  1. Just heard this, my sister is coming to the Albert hall gig coz she loves the last album and we said the royal Albert hall primary colours show seemed like a goodbye to their earlier loud nonsense, can't wait.
  2. When they say more to be announced they mean 5 Goa Express slots to be announced.
  3. If I was in an olde band I'd always be dropping Glastonbury hints, pretty sure them being linked with Glastonbury is the only time anyone ever talks about dapesh mode.
  4. It's on brand to be honest as their music is pretty unlistenable.
  5. They'd have levelled up the summer of 2020 I feel, that last album is made to be played in the sun. Alas... The Big Moon are one of those bands made for festivals so I think they'll appear as long as they exist, and I think that should be reflected in certain bands placements, they probably will be JP though.
  6. They were on the 2020 John peel playlist so probably, I still rate they'd ace an early other slot though
  7. Give me Goat Girl on the park please.
  8. Adele to perform at the world cup semi final
  9. Blur did evolve from a bunch of southern posh tossers to a bunch of southern posh tossers minus a half decent guitarist (albeit they went back on that a decade later).
  10. I won't bother then, cheers for the heads up. Such a weird band, I kinda wanna hate it but Ringtone ended up being my top played song of 2020.
  11. There's only one person who's suggested they make the same album every time, and they've just sat back and watched everyone argue for a whole page ahah.
  12. I know a total of zero people that would tolerate seeing these live but don't know if I can pass it up to be honest. Anyone know if they have any chance of being at Glastonbury?
  13. It would be fucking exhausting if everyone aimed for that. Also doesn't really back up CalGons point that AM aren't doing this 3 decades later (along with nearly everyone else).
  14. Is Brassic good then? It's advertised so badly but I love everyone in it.
  15. Parquet Courts are the best people making music currently and have smashed through my earlier sweeping statement about bands getting worse as they get better. Probably the only band matching The Cribs and The Beatles in terms of consistency.
  16. The Sun Is Often Out is the best britpop album. They didn't need to release anything afterwards but they're the one band that need to do an anniversary tour for the people who were 4 years old when it came out (sorry @Mardy)
  17. I have a Manchester City season ticket and have seen all the marvel films at the cinema and am, therefore, the actual devil.
  18. Finished what if, enjoyed it. What a load of shite though.
  19. Am I well out of the loop or is LL a bit of a reach...
  20. Is it just me or has the QOTSA news only made real waves here? It's obviously fucking awful if true but the judge denied the initial restraining order (although allowed a separate one for his daughter which is a little more suspect....) There'd be little backlash if they were announced. Edit: I wasn't suggesting anything with saying it's more suspect, I haven't read into that one
  21. Fair ahah, Roadhouse was a cracking venue tbf. Drenge there in '13 genuinely changed my life.
  22. I've crossed the barrier into genuinely liking that new Limp Bizkit song. Slaps.
